The way Hope treated Thomas today you would never know she’s been lusting for him. Wam, bam, and thank you sir for my bad girl moment. I wasn’t impressed with the big kiss scene. Hope seemed far more animated than Tom just like her fantasy scenes. So I’m still suspicious. Where the twists and turns are I don’t know, but something isn’t quite right. They either changed direction or there’s more story to tell. The Forrester in Rome story is incomplete.

I think Hope is still confused. But she is like a person waking up from a dream and realizing her real life is with Liam and the children. She was working and enjoying herself and all the creative outlet with Thomas.
I think Hope loves Liam but just for a moment in time went outside her self to enjoy a moment but I think it will cost her and others.

I would buy that if it hadn't been going on for weeks and if her mother, her husband, and her boss weren't all up her butt about what was going on with her. How could she dream when these people wouldn't give her a moment's rest?
That's why I don't believe she got caught up in anything. She thought she could control herself but she was wrong. She now she think she can still control it -- as if Thomas is just going to go back to sketching like it never happened. SMH

Even if they had a proper discussion about the kisses and decided to end it that day, then it would have been ok. The kisses could have been a sign of forgiveness to Hope toward Thomas for the pain of the past. The kisses could have been a beginning to a passionate affair. But instead of going with any one of those scenarios, they spent months building up great chemistry between Hope and Thomas, chemistry that had Fans and non-fans talking, only to let it drop. Even if the relationship could never be, the kisses, passion and chemistry could have had meaning behind them. Either a proper end or beginning to the relationship... Instead they gave us a hollowed out story, completely wasting the talent and on-screen fire of the actors. I'm just hoping that the Thomas and Hope story isn't over quite yet.

This could go in many directions.
1. They could have had sex..... I do not know if I could ever forgive Hope
2. This kiss and time could have set both Thomas and Hope free. No more obsession or fantasies.
3. This could set Thomas free and prove he is over Hope
4. The kiss could be all about Hope completely losing her mind as well as everything else.
5. The kiss could be all about both Liam and Hope going into counseling and working through the problems in their relationship... Liam needs to find out why he constantly runs away instead of tackling the issues head on and Hope needs to figure out why she has allowed her abuser to get into her head and what really are her priorities in life. If HFTF and Douglas are more important than Liam and Beth, she needs to just set them free and move on.

And by throwing so many characters under the bus including Liam and Hope, I don’t care if they stay together or not. I don’t care who they end up with. I think this entire story has been a waste. I have lost all interest in that 30-something character age group. I’m hoping Bell moves quickly to a different story.

This was just Hope pretending she can move on and live her fake life as a loyal wife to Liam. Thomas was looking at her life, what the?

Of course, the thrill is gone. This whole Rome trip is just a way for Hope to live out her little fantasy lust with the "bad boy" is all. Now that she got her little lust fest out of her system, it's back to actual reality where she'll soon realize she took it too far with her stupid "bad boy" lust fest. That's why she will be begging for forgiveness..she loves Liam, and Thomas is pretty much just a male version of cha cha cha that she'll need to put away in her back pocket.
JMO.
If what she had in Rome was genuine love, I doubt she would say what happened in Rome, stays in Rome. It was totally bizarre to me that Hope was all lust actions and NO genuine conversation with substance such as actually verbalizes she's deeply in love with him and wants a life, a future with him..nothing like that at all..no professing "I love you"..nothing..just all lust actions.

Hope may have destroyed all the therapy Thomas has been receiving. Now he will revert back to lusting for her obsessively which gave him hope again . All that therapy down the drain.

I actually think it's going to be the opposite. If Thomas responds to the news that Hope wants to stay with Liam in a mature way then it shows he's better. I think this is the writers' way of redeeming Thomas. And then, as much as I hate to say it, that could pave the way for a Hope/Liam/Thomas triangle.

yeah i get you but she is gross and fickle if she has to find out if she wants to be with someone else while being married. its not like she is single and experimenting and you know she likes experimenting in the past. Hope is laughable at this point and her guilt looks fake.
