I don't feel sorry for Finn (General)

Finn deserves everything he gets!

Finn's secrets keeping during the Sheila storyline is NOTHING compared to the Steam ONS and Steffy potentially keeping him in the dark about kiss she shared with Liam.

We can speculate all we want what Finn would do is if he was given another option other than Steffy, but Finn has always been faithful to Steffy, and he made the ultimate sacrifice by jumping in front of a bullet for Steffy.

Finn is a victim in this situation. And he does not deserve to be hurt like this. Point blank period.

I will never ever root for Leffy. But Steffy cheating on him again shouldn't shock him, and if she dumps him, I won't feel bad for him. At all. When your girlfriend jumps into bed with her married ex after a couple of weeks of relationship, it should tell you all you need to know. How naive can Finn be? Not only she slept with Liam, but she called that night fantastic and unforgettable. Called Liam her greatest gift, told him she has a connection with Finn but it would never compare to how she feels about him. And was already making plans to dump Finn before the hospital reveal about Thomas' surgery. He was an absolute fool to believe her lies. I don't mind him forgiving Steffy but he wasn't even mad at her for more than a few hours. She had sex with her ex for the sole reason she thought he was available again. Liam thought his wife cheated on him but Steffy didn't think Finn was cheating, and she still cheated anyway. He should have made her beg for a few months like Hope did with Liam. I still don't think Hope should have forgiven Liam and I don't think Liam should forgive Hope for Thoms, but that's another topic. Finn forgave too fast and refused to face the real problems. The idiot blamed it all on Liam and rewarded his cheating girlfriend with flowers and jewels the same day. She was going to leave town without even talking to him when she learnt Liam was the father, but he rewards her with a marriage proposal. Yuck. They never got closure about that night. He decided to pretend it never happened and ignore all the red flags. Never seen a bigger weakling than him. The minute Finn forgave her, I knew Steffy would cheat again some day. I just didn't think she would make it so easy. Liam doesn't even have to lift a finger if he wants her. I hope Finn finds out but I won't feel bad for him if he gets hurt.

At the same time his own loyalty to Steffy isn't a lock. Are we supposed to forget the secret meetings, text messages, emojis he exchanged with Sheila before the shooting? He was telling Hope and Paris he wanted to bond with Sheila... and telling Steffy the opposite. Not cool. He let Sheila hold Hayes in Steffy's living room even if he had just promised he would never let Sheila around his baby. He asked Paris to keep his correspondance with Sheila secret. If he could lie to Steffy about a hot topic like Sheila, who says he won't cheat on her if Steffy waffles and if another woman stalks him? Maybe he is as flighty as Liam, Ridge, Bill and everyone else, he just never had the chance to show it. I will never forget Wyatt... a guy who was praised for his loyalty for years. That sure didn't last long when Flo inserted herself between him and Sally. Why would Finn be different from Wyatt? Finn also showed his true colors during the parent trap for me. He watched his wife and his brother-in-law bully the Logans, declare war and conspire against Brooke's marriage. He saw them taking Ridge's phone and hanging up on Brooke, he was smiling about it. He heard Steffy's hypocrisy when she crucified Brooke about the Deacon kiss.... and in the next breath encouraged and rewarded Taylor and Ridge's adultery in Aspen. I will never forget Steffy's words. "Brooke kissed Deacon, she doesn't love dad, she never did"... by her own logic, she never loved Finn. The fool totally supported it. He lost his good guy image a long time ago. Is he nice compared to Bill, Eric, Ridge or Thomas? Probably. But he isn't the perfect, decent, kind, honest person he claims he is.

I don't, either. I agree, especially with the last part. He showed his true colors during the parent trap. Now I know he condones adultery, stalking, lies and manipulations. Not only he condones it, he praised Steffy, Thomas, Ridge and Taylor for the whole thing. No guy with morals would support what Steffy and Thomas did to Bridge.

Let's not forget his last comment when she slept with Liam. He said he forgave but if anything happened that would be it. Done. I will give him the benefit of the doubt. Something tells me he will bark up the wrong tree again and forgive Steffy, sadly. Steffy cheats on him but he'll only blame Liam. And it will make him more pathetic than he is now, if it's possible. Hopefully I'm wrong and Steffy will be receiving annulment papers by the end of July.

I don’t think Steffy will leave FINN for Liam

You make a lot of good points. I think Finn knew what he signed up for when he got married after that one night stand. And knew what he signed up for when he heard about why Taylor shot bill. And you're right. He has sat there grinning through all The parent trap nonsense. And he had the nerve to make derogatory comments about Brooke when Steffy made that type of mistake with Bill.

I'm just not sure how big of a deal they're going to make out of the kiss and if Liam kissing Steffy in a reactionary fashion is going to be something the writers feel like breaking sinn up for. I don't know that they will.
