Did Thomas look guilty today? (General)

GracieGirl, 6/19/2023, 6:55PM (334 days ago)

When Hope compared where the line is today with where the line was before, my mom said she had this feeling that Hope will find out that Thomas created the crisis with HFTF to get his job back. I asked her why she thought that? Mom says because before that she told Brooke she had been a wreck about her line and didn’t want her or Liam to know.

That's what we theorized back when the first bad review came out and he was all cocky. He changed his tune right after that didn't get him the rehire.

I’m not watching GracieGirl, but it would be a huge SUPER TWIST if Steffy and Thomas met up and said finally we can get our payback on the Logans!
That’s not happening though.
It would serve Hope right!

Of course, she was a wreck..it was shown that she panicked as soon as she learned that one bad review came out. Thomas has FAKED many things in the past! He faked that letter from a dead Caroline..he faked cards/drawings from Douglas to Hope..certainly wouldn't surprise this viewer if he had faked that one bad review just so he can present himself as the ONLY ONE that can save her professional baby.:whistle

As far as guilty look....I thought the other day on the plane, there was that one scene he was looking at Hope..he had a guilty look IMO.

How could Thomas make sales drop on the line? I was on board for him potentially being responsible for the one bad review but he didn’t get his job back because of that. They had actual sales numbers that forced Steffy to have to make a decision regarding the line.

Seems like a huge stretch at this point. Everyone has said that it was not that the designs were bad, just not Hope's vision. One bad review wouldn't make people stop buying the clothes.

This may sound silly, but if she is going to ruin her marriage over Thomas, I at least want her to be right about him. I am sick of them making her look like a fool.

But this would mean that Tom would really be unredeemable like "forever"...if they let this be a sly plot by Tom (I hope that at least Steffy wouldn´t be in it too) then they could as well kill him off...if after a plot like that he still only would be sent away "to get real therapy" and then have him return again as "healed", who would ever believe it?
This is the third time he´s telling everybody he´s a "changed man" and practically everybody aside from Liam believing him - if now it turned out that Liam was the only one being right about him, there would be no way back from it this time.

Nah....when Victor Newman was introduced on YR he kidnapped his wife's lover and tortured him for months and Victor was a ruthless, unfaithful, wife abuser, who kept his first wife drugged and locked in a room. He was the vilest most evil character on the show, then they made him the star of the show. LOL.

This could easily be a real twist to this SL with Tom having schemed the whole thing. And his forever "get out of jail free" card is that he is a Forrester. He will always be able to bounce back because he is a Forrester. His mother will always make excuses for him, and force the rest of the family to trust him again. This would not be the case if he was someone like Flo Logan. She is now gone, because what she did was despicable and because she was not a Forrester doing it. In fact, all the players from that plot are gone, except the Forrester. Zoe, Flo, Shauna, all gone. Tom should be gone too, but he had his GOOJF card to fall back on.

Liam was blind to Steffy's schemes, but that has been a long time ago. Accept for the drunken ONS brought about by Tom making out with the mannequin, Liam has not wanted Steffy. And he never once was shown thinking about Steffy while doing Hope. IA that this "Hope wanting Tom" now is a huge stretch, which could be why the ratings reflect that this is not a popular SL arc and there is so much backlash over a mother lusting after her child's abuser, when he is not even interested in her. I mean so far, Tom has shown no interest in anything sexual with Hope.....to me....that makes this all Hope wanting the man that physically abused their son, and wanted her bio-child to stay dead forever. I think to some viewers, myself included, this is BB writing a woman who is either a masochist, or she sees herself as his "savior"....either one is demeaning to female viewers. I wish this were a SL about a strong mother who was standing up for her children, and not a story about a weak woman who cannot control her libido.

That entire plot line made ZERO sense. They had just had the last fashion show in Late October/early November, and they never would release a brand new line right after that. The plot point fails miserably because it is illogical all the way around. They would still be selling that line that Thomas and Zende had done. There wasn't nearly enough time for an entire new line, and for it to be "failing". The story reeks.

No, that is not how it works, unless they are selling through Wal-Mart. LOL. The line they did for last Fall would have been the 2023 spring collection. The line they would be showcasing now, would be for Fall 2023. So none of this makes sense at all. The line that was shown in fall 2022, would have been designed in spring 2022. So the clothing they should be showcasing in Rome right now, would have been designed and done and they would be a fall collection, no spring dresses, no chiffon, no bathing suits. The collection would be wools, gabardine, sweaters, coats, jackets, trousers, skirts, all cool weather clothing.

The way they are writing this....the showcase they are doing, should all be designs Tom did before the CPS call debacle, which means, he and Hope would have been working on the Fall 2023 collection all this time, and not rushing to get summer dresses into production for this show. Those dresses would not be seen until fall 2023, for spring 2024. And, there would be no need for these 14 hour days. The 14 hour workday, last minute rush for this Rome showing, would have all been going on last fall and winter, not now. There would be no rush on right now, until mid summer for the supposed stuff he has been working on.

No, I'm talking about Liam is blind about snake Steffy in her deep deep hatred of Hope/Brooke..he has no idea that wasn't that long ago ringleader Steffy actually declared a war against these 2 women. Liam is blind to still fully trusts that snake and her calculated moves/motives. Liam is the one who told Hope that Steffy's WRONG in giving Hope that "unreasnable" ultimatum..so why ain't Liam expressing what he really thought about Steffy's "unreasonable" ultimatum to Steffy's face?? Instead, he ran to that snake for advice about his current situation. In my eyes, yes, he is still very blind when it comes to that manipulative witch.

And I don't believe for one soapy second that Thomas ain't interested in a married Hope. JMO. He has been shown on several occasions initiated physical contacts..heck, just in the plane ride, he's was so bold in offering a back massage to Liam's wife KNOWING there are all these other people on the plane too. Does he seriously believe that Brooke AND Steffy would think it was totally appropriate to give this woman who he's had many years of obsession with and is supposedly over her?! Steffy who accused and bashed Hope of "derail" Thomas's progress would probably throw Hope right out the plane..if she saw her brother giving Hope a back massage. LOL.

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.

Did Thomas look guilty today?

When Hope compared where the line is today with where the line was before, my mom said she had this feeling that Hope will find out that Thomas created the crisis with HFTF to get his job back. I asked her why she thought that? Mom says because before that she told Brooke she had been a wreck about her line and didn’t want her or Liam to know.

How could Thomas make sales drop on the line? I was on board for him potentially being responsible for the one bad review but he didn’t get his job back because of that. They had actual sales numbers that forced Steffy to have to make a decision regarding the line.

It could be he faked/orchestrated that one bad review that causes the sales to decline?

Seems like a huge stretch at this point. Everyone has said that it was not that the designs were bad, just not Hope's vision. One bad review wouldn't make people stop buying the clothes.

This may sound silly, but if she is going to ruin her marriage over Thomas, I at least want her to be right about him. I am sick of them making her look like a fool.

But Liam is the same way though where Steffy is concerned. IMO, Liam is blind when it comes to snake Steffy, and Hope is blind when it comes to monster Thomas. It’s bad writing. JMO

To be honest I will be glad when this s/l is waaaaay over. I am now bored and tired with it.
Thomas isn’t my favorite but I can’t even tolerate whiny Liam anymore. They need to give Finn a bigger part than just to make out with Steffy every morning. I liked seeing him when the guys were working out

Finn needs more guy time. Liam has Wyatt and Bill for guy time and they are fun. Finn has no one like that.
