When is Hope Accountable? (General)

So some fans seems to think Hope is accountable already for fantasizing, while others are praying for Thope to happen, blaming Liam for being a nag. Today Wyatt brought up Brooke again suggesting to me , that if Hope does act on her desires, somehow it will be Brooke’s fault. Others see Thomas as the master manipulator setting Hope up for a huge fall. So my question is when will it actually just be about Hope being responsible for her actions IF she acts on her desires ? Just curious what fans of Hope or B&B think?

Then there are fans like me who think Hope is accountable for lying to her husband and gaslighting everyone who asks her what's going on. Fans like me who think she has no right to blame her actions on her mother and no right to make her husband feel like crap just because he trusts her but can't put his finger on what is wrong. It is VERY and COMPLETEY wrong of her to keep him twisted up like this when he's asked her about her feelings for Thomas.

That's where she's wrong in my book.

Just as I suspected the feelings vary greatly, but I do see validity in all responses. However this plays out, the fallout will be interesting to watch. I keep wondering if maybe Thomas is playing the whole situation so he can finally blackmail Hope and get Douglas back for good? That would be a spin!

ETA -- oh and wrong to keep being near Thomas while knowing these fantasies are escalating and disrupting work. If people keep talking about it during work and if she and Thomas have to keep talking about Liam's feelings, then it's disruptive. All she has to do is talk to her husband. She's also wrong to keep this vibe going where people in the office are noticing and now Thomas, who very well could get the wrong signal, might become in jeopardy, throwing the line into jeopardy. She's not responsible for his feelings but she should make every effort not to confuse that man if she wants him on her line so bad.

Then when Steffy says Liam might not be happy with THope working together indefinitely, Hope says Finn doesn't tell Steffy how to run Forrester. Deflection, gaslighting. I'm tired of her deflecting like that.

But I will tell you what, Finn DOES give his advice to Steffy and I can imagine what Finn's advice would be if Steffy started working day in and day out with the likes of Bill Spencer. So Hope can miss me with that gaslight.

She then tells Steffy that Hope and liam are in a good place -- LIE. And everything is under control. To me, that's another lie. I don't know how her husband can feel the way he does, but she can say this stuff to Steff with a straight face.

All Hope needed to say “it’s none of your business”. Hope did ok. Steffy shouldn’t have been asking

She wasn’t asking because she was worried about Kelly’s weekend schedule. Over and above being Thomas’s sister and co-parenting with Hope, so yes having personal interests, she is Thomas and Hope’s boss. Hope was sitting there obviously distracted and in a daze. It’s her job to be proactive about ensuring the success of the line and the imminent show, so why wouldn’t she ask? “It’s none of your business” would have gone over real well with any of my bosses…..lol

No, the way the employees fraternize is also her business. For decades, it was their business that ruled through whomever else was swamped and scandal. And Stephanie has every right to make sure there's no scandal going on associated with the pristine hope for the future so yes it is very much her business how employees interact with each other because of foresters image.
