I have really been enjoying the story also and hope they get a real chance as a couple. The actors ooze chemistry and if written right, could be a hell of a story with all the obstacles. If not, so be it, but they need to hit the sheets at least once lol. If it's a bait and switch, I will just stop watching again. I have disliked Lope since their inception.
I have never been a big fan of the Hope character (love both the actresses though) which was surprising since Brooke is my favorite character. Hope actually kinda reminded me of Taylor a self-righteous hypocrite BUT now she's interesting. Fighting her attraction for the wrong guy...love it...bring on THOPE!

I’ll be surprised if it doesn’t turn out to be a bait and switch, but the show desperately needs the kind of shakeup Thope would bring imo. Thope could have the added benefit of mending the relationship between their mothers to some extent.

She’s more interesting now she was a boreing lump in the cabin with weirdo liam…things change on a soap or else they are stale …like another bridge reunite same old

Sorry....but weird is taking up with the man that wanted your kid to be dead forever and he knew she was not, and he knew that his sister you do not like, was raising her instead. Boring is parroting the same kiss butt three lines to each other, day in and day out, like Thope does endlessly. Bridge is never dull to this viewer, and Lope had more heat and intense feelings when they had their argument last week about her trusting Tom, then all of the scenes between Thope, put together. Thope is flat and repetitive. I will never ever watch them after Rome if they are together, but they could have at least done a better buildup to them being in-love, then the creepy horror movie heartbeat sound, and her looking like a serial killer is after her, when she comes out of her Tom stupors. LOL

There was a time when Lope did nothing but parrot the same kiss butt three lines to each other, day in and day out. It was an often voiced complaint about them. That’s this shows best effort at showing romance, or a couple being in sync or getting along, apparently. I agree Lope’s argument scene was outstanding but I am also confident AN and MA would have done every bit as well with a scene like that. We haven’t even seen Thope in an actual love scene yet (we may never see that) so I don’t know how anyone could judge their chemistry as a real couple at this point.

Gag me. I don’t believe it will ever work. The show made a choice. They chose to spend 90% of MAs Matt time on show emphasizing he’s not even normal. And because MA is such a good actor, he convinced me that Tom is not just the bad guy. Now in a matter of months, the show has waved a magic wand and abracadabra we are supposed to get amnesia. Well wands don’t work on me. In fact the only thing this story has done is made me think less of Hope.
