I guess sort of a sympathy 5% since Steffy had way more than Thomas's zero % to start out.
When Taylor gave Steffy her 25%, which were originally meant to be equally divided between her kids after her death, she told Steffy to compensate Thomas in the future (something she still hasn't done 13 years later).
But Ridge giving those 5% to Thomas the following year had nothing to do with Steffy's 25%. When Ridge almost canceled Thomas' successful Taboo line just to punish him for kissing a sleeping Brooke on the plane, Eric and Brooke persuaded him that he needed to repair his relationship with his son. Then Ridge decided to surprise Thomas with a portion of his own shares to make him feel valued again.

You are right, the "Royal" was added by me because they were behaving as if the were some nobility, looking down on "non-Forresters", though the only real (blood) Forrester was Eric of course. They were looking at Hope as if she were some pariah and though Tom welcomed her the others were leting her feel very uncomfortable.

Steffy got Bill's 12.5 % just to be technical. That said none of the other heirs got any because Steffy tricked Bill into selling her back the company in 2010 and split it up between her parents and grandparents. When she died Stephanie left hers to Eric.

Once each of them had their 25%, ownership changed from there with Eric's divorce, and Taylor giving hers to Steffy or whatever, and Ridge giving 5% to Thomas and Stephanie giving hers to Eric upon her death.

Brooke gave Ridge 25 Million to add to his 25 million. That is why she was angry that she was not a share holder. . She was worried about her kids, and when Ridge gave 5% of his 25% to Tom to make up for Taylor's dissing Tom, he then told Brooke the other 20% would go to RJ, since Eric was splitting his 37.5% between, Thorne, Kristin, Felicia, Rick and Bridget. They never brought up her giving him money again. I believe Steffy is suppose to give Tom 12.5% of her shares when she deems he is fit enough to have them.....how nice for Tom that he has to be beholden to his little control freak sister for the shares his mother should have given him outright. But, Taylor has never really cared about Tom, like she does about Steffy. Each of Eric's biological children will get 7.5% of FC when Eric dies. RJ will get 20% from his biological father. Tom will supposedly eventually have 17.5% of the stock. And Steffy will have 25%. That way if RJ sides with the biological Forresters, they will control FC. Anyway, this was the layout years ago....who knows what it is now.

Eric had 25% gave half his shares to Donna - divorce - who sold them to Bill. Eric then got Stephanie’s 25% at her death along with the power to pick the CEO.

He wanted to give them to Brooke after their wedding in 2016 and was even ok with Brooke giving them to Ridge. But Ridge stopped that wedding and so Bill kept his shares. When Brooke eventually got married to Bill the following year, this deal was never brought up again.

I had no idea about the way Eric planned to divvy up his shares when he dies. Something tells me that's gonna be re-written because it's extremely confusing to have that many shareholders for the writers to keep up with. Four is easy. 8 people four of whom aren't on canvas seems unwieldy.

That Steffy sure used her body and blackmail to get the company back. Funny, she bashed Ivy and Liam for their blackmails saying “blackmail is a CRIME”. In her own logic, she herself is a CRIMINAL.
And the only reason she even became a co-CEO was because of selfish Quinn with her own Statt agenda suggested to Eric. Steffy should thank Quinn for it. IMO.

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.
Steffy is very quick to blame others for mistakes or crimes she herself made...only "Queen Steffy" is allowed to blackmail, cheat, seduce, break into security and call others out on crimes she herself committed.
Steffy thinks she's untouchable but she's just a criminal like the others she is blaming.

Nothing I said was incorrect. So I am not sure where you get this mostly correct from.

I don't know if Brooke gave Ridge any money.
But Taylor first hesitated to join that deal and buy 25% because it was so much money and Taylor would have to use all her assets to buy these shares.
Brooke then offered to buy these 25% instead of Taylor, but Taylor decided to take the risk and buy the shares.
Weird SL, when soon later Taylor had no financial concerns for herself or Thomas, when she gifted all her shares to Steffy.
