I can see where she does not divorce him; she absolutely loves him.
But sometimes love does not fit the problem or the solution, so if she finds herself (as she is now the past few months) putting more time and effort with and into Thomas and her HFTF than with Liam and her children then yes I would say she seriously needs to consider divorcing Liam. It would not be the end of the world.

I don’t oppose Lope breaking up. I am against Thomas for Hope and always will be. Liam is a rich billionaire. He can do better than Hope or Steffy. The battle between them, especially Steffy at all cost, made him weak. Time to move past an immature Hope and an aggressive Steffy.

I am in the minority I guess, I totally believe if there is a young child involved, and no one is abusing the other mentally or physically, and the 2 people do have love for each other, they should honor their marriage and stay together. I am old fashioned enough to think a person's happiness does not outweigh the stability and happiness of their young child. And, that if you make a commitment, you stick to it. Hope herself was the one that said those very words to Liam when he had left Steffy when she was pregnant. Hope told him to go back to Steffy and make it work for their child, because they owed that to their child. Then she found out about Steffy cheating with Liam's dad, and she even told Steffy that was mental abuse and explains why Liam was so emotionally down and not right in the head. Hope also left Liam when she believed Beth was dead, and she told Liam to go be a family with Steffy because a child needs both their parents together, if that is possible. Then she married Tom to be a parent to Douglas. I personally think divorce is wrong when young children are involved, and if the marriage is not one that is hate filled and abusive. IMHO you do not divorce over indifference or because you have an itch in your pants for someone else. You go to therapy or you just buck up and do the right thing. The time to leave Liam was when he cheated with Steffy, Beth was young enough to adapt easier, but now she is 5-6 years old, and this will be much harder.
I am older, so maybe I do not really understand this disposable marriage culture of today. I have heard young people say things about their "starter marriage" and friends whose children get divorced when their jobs become bigger and they feel the spouse is not catching up quick enough.....I just shake my head.
Anyway, that is why I feel strongly about this SL....the way it is happening makes no sense to me from the stance of right and wrong. Hope has never had feelings of lust for Tom. Hope has a young child at home, and I would think that child would be her #1 priority all the time, same for Liam. Hope and Liam have always adored each other, even when with others. Hope was married to Wyatt and saw Liam moving on with Ivy and it tore her to pieces. There has been zero buildup to a Thope relationship since his last dirty deal he pulled on Brooke. I could go on and on....but at this point I am starting to wonder if Beth was suddenly taken ill and hospitalized, if Hope would even cancel her trip to Rome. That is how whacky this SL feels to me. And, I would say the same for Steffy if she suddenly decided to dump Finn because he got miffed she was hanging out with Liam too much.....I would think..WTH are you doing? You have a young son with this guy and he adores you.

I respect your opinion although I don’t believe people should stay in bad marriages but it bothers me on BB that no one ever goes to therapy. Despite their current issues, the thought of a divorce never crossed Hope or Liam's mind..that's enough proof to this viewer that they still love each other very much..yes, they are struggling, but they have NOT given up or quit their marriage. They are still trying to navigate through this mess..and that IMO is what makes Lope very realistic as ALL marriages have ups and downs.
That whole Leffy cheating mess didn't break up Lope's marriage..despite the heartbreak and adulterous betrayal..they commuincated, separated then reconciled..they did stick to their commitment and for the stability and happiness of their young Beth.

Still no actual passionate kiss, no jumping Thomas' bone, no filing for a divorce. Nothing except in her messed up head.

Hey lots of people divorce..in fact I think every character except finn has been divorced at least once ….she fits right in if she dumps Liam it’s not her first divorce I think it would be her third? Wyatt, Tom and Liam would be three
That's what I've been trying to figure out what's the big deal divorcing Liam since she's supposedly wants Thomas so badly. It's been MANY WEEKS now since her first fantasy..what is she waiting for?! Still no actual passionate kiss, no jumping Thomas' bone, no filing for a divorce. Nothing except in her messed up head.
So I guess on soaps marriage should not mean anything.... why do they bother even having weddings on soaps. They should just have everyone shacking up together, and switching partners bi-monthly. LOL
Of course, a marriage should mean something. But my point is if Thomas is truly the only one that she wants so badly have the super hots on, then why ain't she actually doing something about it? It's been MANY WEEKS now..yet no actual acting out from her at all. LOL.
Would you have imagined she would give in to her attraction to Thomas right away and just say the heck with her marriage? It’s unlike her to be “bad”, so she’s struggling with her feelings.
She's struggling and fighting it for so long, because she doesn't want it..deep down, she KNOWS it's wrong. She didn't even look happy today after having her fantasy (with creepy music). LOL.
Yes Hope knows it is wrong, and told her mother as much today when she was upset her mother questioned her, and then she said she would NEVER betray her wedding vows. That told me that Liam is going to be thrown under the Italian bus so that Thope can be put together without Hope's hands being too dirty....though she has been gaslighting her husband, knowingly. Hope seems to want to make it hard on Liam and to get his angst up, so maybe he will keep angering her, and then she can justify cheating on him, even in her dreams. My question is, why didn't Hope just ask him to come along to Rome with her? That seems to be the best solution if she really believes the garbage she has been trying to sell him the last month. Liam can come and sit on the sidelines and be her biggest cheerleader. Tom will have his dad and sister there to cheer him on too. So, why doesn't Hope just ask her husband to tag along and help her celebrate her success? It is very flawed writing so far that they have not even addressed that very logical and normal idea. If any of our spouses were going to Rome to have the biggest thing in their work life happen, and it was going to be a HUGE celebration, we would be going along....so why haven't the writers even thought to mention it, and they could even have Liam say he cannot get away, or whatever. But, it is beyond dumb that he has not been asked.

Yes. It says a lot that Hope has not invited Liam. Maybe. It may be meaningless in the scheme of things though because him coming separately and seeing something he wouldn’t have if they had come together is probably being used as a plot point.
