Better to be proactive rather than reactive. A parent's job no matter the age of the child is to try their best to prevent a disaster. If you don't have a problem with Taylor and Ridge sitting down with adult Thomas to see where his head is at, or Steffy defending her adult brother to Liam, or Taylor going around begging Liam and Brooke to give her adult son another chance, why do you have a problem with Brooke trying to stop Hope's train wreck?
