So far I have been kind of siding with Hope. Today when I listened to Liam and his issues with Thomas, nothing moved me as much as reminding that Thomas kept the secret of Beth. He helped hide the fact that Beth was really alive when both Hope and Liam were devastated losing their baby.
Now I have to wonder how do you ever forgive Thomas? Ever trust him? Hope could hardly live thinking her baby was dead. I know I could never forgive someone pulling what Thomas pulled so he could have Hope. Hope was a shell of herself and Liam lost both Beth and Hope

We know this is a soap do they had to work together but them having Hope being confused about her emotions is really despicable to me as a mother.

Last couple of days I kind of was looking at Thomas of maybe being ok and thinking Liam is nuts. However, the minute Liam reminded me that Thomas knew that Beth was alive and using Hope, I again just started hating Thomas again. That can never be forgiven

Ridge married Shauna, another woman who kept Beth from everyone. Ridge was married to Brooke and he cheated on her with Shauna and then married Shauna, who knew about Beth a lot longer than Thomas. Yet Brooke still wants Ridge and was never that mad at him. Everyone forgave Flo Zoe and Xander, who also knew longer than Thomas. I don't blame Liam for the way he feels about Thomas, but I see nothing wrong with Hope forgiving him. She told Thomas "I forgave you" several years ago.

Very true. There's also something Hope said today that has me thinking. When Liam told her that Steffy is only worried about Thomas and doesn't want anyone to stall his progress, Hope said:

"Oh, so she's worried about ME...derailing Thomas? ME. Corrupt HIM.".

She said it like it was the most ironic thing she'd ever heard. This tells me that she knows it's crazy to be having any feelings for him, after what he did.

Very true. There's also something Hope said today that has me thinking. When Liam told her that Steffy is only worried about Thomas and doesn't want anyone to stall his progress, Hope said:

I have been a Hope fan since the character was born. I had to turn on her in this story, because I cannot imagine being attracted to the person who kept the whereabouts of a child that I thought was dead a secret. I understand that you have to make excuses for characters who overlook the harm that a character did to a family member. But when you are the victim, how do you not only forgive, but forget to the point that you fall in love with that person. It’s on the fathomable even on a soap.

Whatever issues Hope had about Thomas and Beth disappeared years ago.
After she kicked Liam out, Thomas was Beth's babysitter. We saw him getting out of Beth's bedroom in at least 3 different scenes.
Hope called Thomas and Beth buddies and pals. She said Beth was a big fan of Thomas.
He said he cares for Beth and would be there for her even if he is not her father.
Liam knows about this. He asked Thomas to take care of Beth when he was in jail.

That has been my issue all along with this storyline. How could a woman ever forget someone keeping her baby from her? I find that incomprehensible and I’m glad Liam expressed that with the passion of a parent. He should feel that way! Hope is acting like a hormone driven teenager, funny she referenced that today.

In fact, Ridge helped Shaunas daughter get out of jail to protect Thomas. Flo told everyone about Thomas so Ridge made sure to look out for her. I don’t know why Brooke wants Ridge because he was so cruel to her last year but as you guys always say, it’s a soap !

They also like to say the heart wants what heart wants so no one should be upset when Bridge unites...

Yup and this is why I have a problem with this storyline. I hate to say this, but you can tell this is written by a man. No real mother would ever forgive the transaction and the horrific act that Thomas did. You could never keep a real mother of her baby like that and there would be forgiveness up to this type of point.

That has been my issue all along with this storyline. How could a woman ever forget someone keeping her baby from her? There were a couple of times a parent treated my child unfairly before. Not anything major. But it caused my child pain. My kids are grown with children and I still haven’t forgotten those adults I think if Thomas did the same to my family I might murder him myself

I agree. He lashed out at her for Beth and walked out. Since then, he had ONE scene with her and Wyatt at Spencer's. I wasn't watching then but from what I've seen it was a very brief interaction and they never even talked about the baby switch. Liam tolerates her because Wyatt sees her as the love of his life. He isn't friend with Flo like Hope is with Thomas.

Thomas claimed that he loved her - but he did not end her pain by reuniting her with her daughter - no, he actively kept them apart, threatened others and told Hope that she has to forget Beth.

How can Hope ever forget that Thomas pushed her to get intimate with him, while he pretended that her (NOT) dead daughter would want her to move on with him and to forget Beth?

Why is she attacking Liam, but defending the man who set up her mother to get blamed for something Brooke had not done? Not long ago Hope had been angry with Thomas for involving their son in that drama and putting again so much pressure on Douglas.

Thomas's actions in 2022 have again put Douglas in the position that he had to keep an important secret from his mother, his grandfather, grandmother Brooke - but Hope is already over that, but not over Liam's actions from years before?
(Why did she marry Liam or stay with him, if she keeps blaming him?)

Exactly. But she's the one written as being all forgiving. Yet she's throwing this up in Liam's face. She's throwing stuff up in Brooke's face. Now she's throwing stuff up in Steffy's, too, I guess, but Thomas? Oh, he's got a blank slate. Humpf.

I wish Liam could realize and say to her, "You forgave that monster for what he did with Beth and with Douglas, but you can't forgive me....."

Liam didn’t fall in love with Flo. Wyatt did.

Thope will destroy Hope as a character. I hope the sex is great and worth it.

Hope thought she killed him, didn't call 911 and lied to Ridge Douglas Steffy and Liam about it, and she was forgiven, so Tom can be forgiven for his lie too

I agree but someone said she forgave him.
She may have decided not to talk about it and yes we are all taught to forgive, but it is no way a mother - especially tge way that went town with Hope/Beth/Liam/Steffy and all those other people - that the writers should ever gave her forget!
Not only that - I think Hope was suspicious of Thomas about Emma.
He is really not redeemable with Hope to me.
And having her truly fall for him and/or sleep with him will make her unredeemable for me.
I’m sorry - Brooke was terribly wrong with Deacon- but initially the plan was to show Bridget he was horrible. Brooke was single at the time and Deacon is a louse.
I know Bell is pushing the envelope because he thinks Hope character will be okay but Hope is NOT Brooke.
