Will Deacon be dumb enough to think he would have a chance with Brooke just because BFF Taylor told him so? Brooke declined his proposal and ring, why would she change her mind?
Taylor will probably push him to try to get Brooke back, she´s such a good and selfless friend!

Taylor is probably hiding behind one of the potted palms at the restaurant ready to snap a photo of them and then post it to her Instagram....and oops....she accidentally sends it to Ridge. LOL...I would not put it past that Asp in the grass...or in this case it would be....snake in the palm.

A potted plant has roots... Taylor is more like an air plant or hogweed ( Invasive and all over the place that causes serious physical damage).

He's making his pitch. Too bad he's going to strike out BIG time. I hope Deacon tells her the truth that Taylor suggested now would be a good time for them to try again. I also hope that Brooke shares her concerns about Hope with him. Since he and Brooke are in a good (not romantic) place maybe they can work as parents to support Hope when her life implodes which it's close to doing. Since Brooke can't reach her maybe Deacon can. After all. he has been a bad boy, been to prison, and has experienced disdain and consequences of making poor choices.
