I noticed she had no problem lying to Tom about what Brooke said, to save her own butt. She said, in a very nasty way, that Brooke said Tom was just scheming to get her alone in a hotel room in SF. I did not go back and watch Friday again, but I don't think that is what Brooke said at all. Brooke asked her what was going on and if Tom had done something and if he she had, she would make sure he was not working on HFTF anymore. And, that is when Hope lost it and said it was her, not him, and then she started lying to her mother to cover her own butt, then today lied again to Tom, blaming her mother, to cover her own butt.
IA with you about the heartbeat stuff....she looks absolutely sick and terrified when we hear the heartbeat. And, the music is not romantic at all. The only memories we are shown of Thope is just the terrified looks, his bewilderment, and the hand fondling. I do not loathe Tom, like I do his mother and sister, so I will say, this guy has not done anything wrong...yet...that we the audience are aware of....yet. BUT, he can never ever be trusted where Beth is concerned....that ship has sailed....and that is why Liam should get full custody of Beth. He should tell Hope that he was amenable to Steffy having Kelly because he was leaving to be with Hope, HE was leaving Steffy. And, Kelly was still nursing when he left. Beth is 5, and if Thope happens it will be because Hope is the cheater, so she should do what Liam did, and leave Beth to live with her dad, and figure out the visitation for her.

Brooke is the Vice President of FC and I do think she could have Tom removed as the designer for HFTF based on her own tenure as CEO, and the fact she made more money for the company than anyone else. She has more than made her bones with FC, and she holds some sway when it comes to the business end of the family. She also has Eric and Ridge's ears, and Steffy knows that Hope is the one with the issue. I think if Tom was causing an issue, Brooke could easily make sure he was reassigned to a different line within the company. He would not be losing his job, and his shares do not mean he gets a job at the company anyway. I just hope that Brooke says the same thing when she finds out it is Hope, that Hope can no longer be on HFTF....she can be assigned to a new area to put her brand on it. Tom could then still design HFTF, and they could possibly bring in Paris or a new person as the face of the brand.

Liam doesn't even have a house, why would he get custody of Beth? Beth will stay with Hope and Douglas if Liam leaves Hope. Even if Thope would be a couple for some time we don't know if they would live together.
Perhaps Hope will stay at the cabin and Tom at Eric's...or wherever...it will not be for long as I suppose Lope will be back together by fall latest.

I noticed she had no problem lying to Tom about what Brooke said, to save her own butt. She said, in a very nasty way, that Brooke said Tom was just scheming to get her alone in a hotel room in SF. I did not go back and watch Friday again, but I don't think that is what Brooke said at all. Brooke asked her what was going on and if Tom had done something and if he she had, she would make sure he was not working on HFTF anymore. And, that is when Hope lost it and said it was her, not him, and then she started lying to her mother to cover her own butt, then today lied again to Tom, blaming her mother, to cover her own butt.IA with you about the heartbeat stuff....she looks absolutely sick and terrified when we hear the heartbeat. And, the music is not romantic at all. The only memories we are shown of Thope is just the terrified looks, his bewilderment, and the hand fondling. I do not loathe Tom, like I do his mother and sister, so I will say, this guy has not done anything wrong...yet...that we the audience are aware of....yet. BUT, he can never ever be trusted where Beth is concerned....that ship has sailed....and that is why Liam should get full custody of Beth. He should tell Hope that he was amenable to Steffy having Kelly because he was leaving to be with Hope, HE was leaving Steffy. And, Kelly was still nursing when he left. Hope is fighting it because she doesn't want anyone to know that her halo has slipped off and is lying on the ground somewhere. Hope doesn't have any signs of Stockholm syndrome at all, imo. She has a case of the hots for the guy that isn't interested in her anymore. It doesn't matter if Thomas touched Hope's hand; if Hope didn't like it she should tell him to stop and she should pull her hand away. But Hope LOVES it and wants more. So, in her mind, she has to choose Thomas the only savior otherwise her line would be paused/gone..and she's obsessed with her line so she's not gonna let her line go.
And it was only after he came back to save her professional baby that she suddenly started to fantasizing about him and appears to be developing some feelings for him, so of course, now she's saying that working with him is the best time of her life, it's magical blah blah....

The only person who has emotionally cheated for years is Hope. Thomas returned in January 2019. 4 years ago, she was humiliating Liam, making out with Thomas behind his back and keeping it secret, annulling her marriage to Liam, accepting Thomas' ring and marrying Thomas. 4 long years later, she is still putting the monster ahead of her marriage and emotionally cheating. Everyone has a breaking point and Liam may finally reach it.

I don't get the "how Liam responds to being cheated" part
Hope has cheated ON him many times... and WITH him First there was Oliver, then Wyatt many times... And even with Thomas, I seem to remember a few inappropriate moments and kisses before her last marriage ended.
Liam has been on the other side more than once before... Not just with Hope but with Steffy too. Didn't she cheat on him with his brother AND his father? Liam will be fine regardless...
But the fallout will be awesome this time because it's THOMAS, his least favorite guy in the world. I can't think of something more hurtful than Hope in love with Thomas...

At this point I wouldn't mind a kiss, either. As long as it doesn't go further, I'm ok. The last thing I want is Hope sleeping with him any keeping it secret, and possibly getting pregnant. But a kiss or 2 wouldn't be too dirty, I guess. Still, I think they will make the reveal all about Hope's feelings. Liam and Hope will just have to decide whether or not their marriage is still worth saving or if they end it. If the marriage ends, it will be a mutual decision between 2 people who still respect each other. I can't see anything serious happening with Thomas before she and Liam have filled for a separation or a divorce.
Liam loves Steffy in a completely platonic way this time. This is nothing like how Hope and Thomas feel about each other in these current scenes. Liam loves Steffy the same way Brooke loves Thorne or Eric, it's not a romantic love. Maybe Bell will throw Leffy together again down the road, but he isn't doing anything at the moment. I have seen no suspect flashback or inappropriate behavior from him since the mannequin night (which happened nearly 3 years ago and he has already paid for it in every ways possible during when he rot in jail for weeks for Vinny's death). Nothing can be blamed on Liam this time. Although his constant whining about Thomas can be seen as unattractive, I don't see anything more than a devoted husband who's fighting for his marriage and trying to protect his wife from a man who hurt them in the past.

I think a kiss would either draw her in or make her really think about what she’s doing. Right now she’s just in hormonal, fantasy land and she’s acting a little unhinged. The sexual tension is making her crazy!
