I think it will. They went up for Aspen.
They actually didn’t at least not the overall ratings. They spiked during the Finn’s alive story and Monaco and then dropped and stayed there until the Tridge wedding. But I think Italy will be different.

Throwing Taylor under the bus by making her "break her pact" with Brooke is not going to make things better. I am only watching for Steffy and for the ultimate imposion of Lope, and hoping Liam will be free and move on. I will take Lheila over Lope. If he stays with Hope, I'll take another extended break until something good happens.

It will only get worse if the show continues to push RJ's step-SISTER and step-BROTHER as a romantic pair.

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.

To be fair, it's been getting worse for months, long before the current storylines with Sheila, Bill/Katie, Braylor and Thomas-Liam-Hope started. After Aspen it went downhill again.
And it's getting worse for the other soaps too... Y&R's trajectory is usually similiar to B&B's...
B&B is terrible since 2020, I won't list all the reasons why.
I stopped watching twice since 2020. I tuned back in for Sheila and Bill.
Now I am loving this Hope story even if I don't like her character in general. I know some fans aren't happy but hey, lots Brooke fans don't want her with Ridge and it's happening anyway. Fans of every characters will be disappointed one day, that's how soaps work. Steffy and Finn will be next.
The repetitiveness of the dialogs is the biggest problem for me. Steffy and Finn, Hope and Liam, Hope and Thomas, Steffy and Thomas, Brooke and Taylor, Brooke and Ridge, RJ and Ridge... same disk every day.
The Liam whining is insufferable, for instance! EVERY SINGLE DAY the same things. He is one of my favorite character, yet I have to mute him every time he starts barking about Thomas. They're totally ruining him. Part of me wishes I could fast-forward to the day he finds out in Rome, so he will finally shut up and start talking about something else.

The show films a good six weeks ahead, so that won't have an impact for a while yet.

Speaking for myself:
I stopped watching completely when the Thope business started up again.
Also when Liam and Steffy started sharing a lot of scenes alone together.
And the spoilers and news of Liam and Steffy and Thope going to Italy and not Finn, confirmed my decision that I will continue not to watch.
The hints that Sinn will be destroyed, Leffy will start up and Hope will maybe be with Thomas, tell me this isn’t the show for me.
I am happy about the possibility of Bridge but not enough to watch if Sinn is ruined and Leffy and Thope happen.

Don't know yet about Thope but I think it's a safe bet that Leffy won't be happening and Sinn will stay together. I think, once Steffy does her damage in the Hope story, then she and Finn will be involved with Sheila.

Even if nothing romantic happens between Liam and Steffy in Italy, if Thope breaks up Lope and Sheila causes trouble for Sinn, I think the show will use that as an opportunity to reunite Leffy. Liam always turns to her when he is disappointed in Hope and Steffy is always written to never be able to resist him.
I wouldn’t care if Hope and Finn wouldn’t be upset, but they will be. The backbone of the Leffy pairing is Hope’s pain: it’s what it was built on. And I don’t see it ever not being that way.
And Hope and Finn don’t deserve to be hurt by Leffy anymore than they already have. It was bad enough for me to see Hope suffer over them, now there’s Finn who I like and he’ll be hurt by them too.

The bottom line is, though, that Leffy never work. A ONS with regret the next day isn't exactly a big "love" story. Leffy haven't ever worked.

I have never found them root worthy because of the awful way they hooked up.
At least with Sinn they were both single and Steffy didn’t have a grudge against his family that factored into her interest in him like with Liam. I bet if Hope totally was out of love with Liam, he would lose some of his appeal.
Imo Steffy would be a fool to go back with Liam when she has Finn. This has been her healthiest relationship.
Hopefully the show sees that.

I’m not happy about it. I’m frustrated as a viewer but I would not post here if I didn’t consider myself a real fan of the show. I want it to be better because I always believe the show can so better. The show has the better actors and the people are gorgeous to look at. They make acting look so easy that I think they aren’t always appreciated. I see three problems. 1. Do the research. Don’t make up stuff that’s opposite of what was shown. Evolve a story. Evolve a character. Take viewers along on the journey. 2. Before you take a character to the edge, think about the consequences. Why would you allow Thomas to do such questionable things and then tell us well he’s normal. Now we are supposed to believe that Hope could fall for Thomas but you did not bring the fans along. How did Hope get to this point? 3. Repetition makes us feel as if we don’t have to watch the show everyday. There is way too much repetition. How many days do we have to hear Liam or Katie whine? How many days in a row do we have to hear about Braylor besties? How many days in a row do we have watch Hope appear as if she a having a break down? Too much repetitive nonsense. I want Bold to get better. I don’t understand how these declining ratings are possible.

If episodes weren't pre-empted every 2 weeks in some areas, I think it would be a bit better. B&B always had pre-empted episodes but they were always announced in advance and they weren't so regular. In 2023, it just happens out of the blue. Episode interrupted or pre-empted on CBS for no particular reason. It's frustrating.

GOOD! It SHOULD get worse as its a HORRIBLE unwatchable show now. I wish they’d cancel it now before it tarnishes how great this show used to be even more!
