Thank you for the article. I'm glad that the actor is admitting Thomas is still attracted to Hope, still loves her and would still be interested if Hope came to him. This interview makes much more sense than the last 2 ones he gave, implying Thomas is no longer interested in Hope and that his feelings are no longer romantic. What he says here is more in accordance with what I'm seeing on screen. These signals Hope is throwing aren't one-sided. He also held her hands, stared at her, agreed to massage her and so on. They are both making the same moves.
I still don't know if Bell really intends to "go there" or if it's a red herring, but if his plan is to pair them together, he is doing it the right way so far. Hope has growing feelings but isn't acting on them, and Thomas tries to respect her marriage. I know for sure it wouldn't amount to anything serious if Hope was cheating early in the storyline or if Thomas was still pursuing her, but neither is happening. If I were Bell and if I intended to pair them together, I would write it this way. Liam's initial reaction will be the key in the end.

I am so tired of this being the only story. Everyone standing around talking about Thope or Hope staring at Thomas and her heart beating fast. I am going to take a break until there is some movement on the show.

Not the narrative Bell is telling IMHO... at all! Hope dated him a couple of times and married him, she always had some sorts of feelings for him or she would have NEVER considered dating and marriage! You can love someone and not be sexually attracted to him, this is what was lacking until last year! The feelings were always there but the physical attraction wasn't! Now she is seeing a new version of Thomas and she loves what she is seeing!

Yet, she couldn’t even bring herself to have sex with him on the wedding night. She’s never felt romantic love for him ever..even when they dated she had no interest in sleeping with him. So yeah, this current narrative is all plot driven garbage that came out of nowhere. IMO.
And didn’t SC say in SOD that Liam was Bill’s shooter? Look how that turned out? Looks to me, that was off. LOL. Nothing is concrete until Bell actually “go there” on screen.

Exactly. The exact quote in Soap Opera Digest was : "Perhaps those feelings that she has repressed start to come out sideways, in ways she cannot anticipate nor control."
There was another short article mentionning "old feelings coming to the surface". It's not a senseless theory when even the soap magazines and actors talk about it.

I disagree with this. I thought it was made clear in those past stories that Hope had no romantic feelings for Thomas whatsoever. She only married him because he gaslighted her into thinking she needed to be Douglas's mother. This new story of Hope suddenly having feelings for that creep comes out of nowhere. It's completely manufactured for this story.

I get what you are saying and respect it, but at least Steffy had a sexually charged history with Bill going back before she even was with Liam. And Liam had been married to Steffy 3 times before, in consummated real marriage, when he cheated on Hope, and as lame as the reason was, there was a reason, he thought she was cheating herself. The Taylor thing was out of left field and was not right. I loathe Taylor and have always viewed her as a sanctimonious hypocrite who killed Darla while drunk, but to shoot Bill in the back, sober, and then leave town...was bad writing and harmed the character. But, they did not care because they did not care about the actress that played the character. JMO. Hope has no reason to be pulling the stunt she is pulling now. They have given us no explanation. Liam has not done anything that she has caught him doing to send her over the edge. Tom is scum who harmed her mother and abused their son. Hope was married to him and could not stand him touching her. So, this makes no sense at all, and has not been set up properly at all.....it reeks of the writers being so desperate they are grasping for any SL they can think of, because everything else has hit a brick wall. Add to all of that.....in no soap opera I have ever watched has a woman thrown away a solid marriage to take up with the man that abused her children, and wanted one of them to be be permanently dead. IMO that makes Tom forever unacceptable as a partner for Hope. They could have had her cheat with Wyatt, or Lope break up and she ends up with Carter. But to put her with the man that wished her child was dead is beyond awful.....and not even soapy....just sick stuff.

I'll give you Taylor and admit that that was done purely for shock value. But Steffy and Liam were completely in character for those two events. Steffy fell out of love with Bill and in love with Liam simply because she hit her head. But there has always been an undercurrent between Steffy and Bill. And Bill has always had a soft spot for her. It's not out of character at all for her to turn to him especially when she thought Liam let her down. Same with Liam. Ever since he put Hopes ring on Steffys finger, he has shown again and again that he will always turn to Steffy when he thinks Hope has let him down. That too was completely in character for him.

An emotional affair is already an affair. For me what she and Thomas have been doing is already worse than if she had a drunken one-night-stand with the pizza delivery man and came clean immediately. Liam will be the last person to know about her secret, and it will make everything look worse than it is!!

This. I don’t care about Thope hooking up. It's a soap with a small cast. But they are writing Hope like she is in Jr. High and has a crush on Tommy in the 3rd row. It's insulting. She is a thirty year old mother, wife and professional.

MA is a talented actor, but I disagree with his opinion about Thomas has loved this girl blah blah....what love? It's NOT love when you purposely hid the truth about Beth being alive from a grieve striken Hope. That's NOT love..that's pure evil. When you obsessed over a married Hope for this many years, it's definitely NOT healthy kind of love!
And Hope isn't making it obvious or fessed up her suppose feelings to this monster..because deep down she KNOWS it's wrong. And there's nothing romantic about RJ's step-SISTER and step-BROTHER given the creepy music the show played whenever they have close alone moments. LOL.

He allowed her to keep Douglas all these years even if he could have sued for custody any time.
He saved her line all by himself.

Nah..he's still a villain just better at hiding his Hope obsession is all. No matter how much the show tries to whitewash him, still doesn't erase all the evil things he did. If he had truly moved on, he would've go out with these models and get a healthy dating life. Instead, he's at FC 24/7 working on HFTF..and everytime he opens his mouth it's always Hope, Hope, Hope. What an obsessed creepy.

Nah..he's still a villain just better at hiding his Hope obsession is all. No matter how much the show tries to whitewash him, still doesn't erase all the evil things he did. He revealed the truth about Steffy's baby, which allowed Hope to forgive Liam faster. If not for Thomas, Liam would have 2 babies with Steffy...
He revealed the truth about Vinny's suicide. Again, Hope would have lost Liam forever if he had not intervened and told Baker.
He allowed her to keep Douglas all these years even if he could have sued for custody any time.
He saved her line all by himself.

I saw it....and fear and terror are feelings too, and they make your heart race. I wonder if Liam and the other Spencer men with him, will shut out HFTF on their one stop fashion forward website? That would be some sweet revenge if HFTF is left out of the site, and the site goes huge, and they even pan the clothes, while praising the creativity of FC's other designers.

Nope, many viewers seem to want Hope to cheat with the lying psycho that wanted her kid dead, because then the show would be "soapy". So, there should be no issue at all with Liam going after HFTF, Hope's other, more important "baby". It does not have to hurt all of FC, just HFTF. In fact, I would think the way this show is written and the power that EOF always has had on the fashion business on this show, since the first year, that Liam could easily demolish HFTF's sales, and do it by being "honest and direct" with the people who buy it, just like Hope is always touting. LOL

At this point....I hope they change Liam some and make him out to be a ruthless as Bill and go for Hope and Tom's throats, ruin HFTF, which he has the power to do, in a couple different ways. THAT would be soapy. All the while he can tell them to go off and rut somewhere together, but that they are both psycho if they think he is going to go away quietly. If she wants the psycho that wanted Beth to be dead, and Hope has shown she is a liar, and now she is gaslighting Liam, I am sure she will understand why he might be going after the thing that came between them, her baby that was more important to her, then her own bio-child.

I want Liam to quietly state that he is just done with it all, walks away and moves on and away from all things Tridge related. Along with Liam (hopefully), I am beyond disappointed, disgusted and tired of this.
The show has shown since last year it will do what is necessary for the Tridge family. Taylor’s past has been completely whitewashed for her sainthood, Steffy becomes hero and victim, and Thomas needs redemption (throwing Hope under the bus, like all characters in this quest for Tridge). Sadly, they will probably have Liam go ballistic so that Hope and Thomas can be elevated as the show’s category of true star crossed lovers…..
And for how many years before last year was it the Logan show? They desperately needed some balance. Now it will swing back the other way. Same with Lope. They can’t bore us in a single room in the cabin forever. I’d imagine SC and AN are excited to be challenged with different material.
At this point....I hope they change Liam some and make him out to be a ruthless as Bill and go for Hope and Tom's throats, ruin HFTF, which he has to power to do, in a couple different ways. THAT would be soapy. All the while he can tell them to go off and rut somewhere together, after all the desire to have Beth be dead, the lies, the gaslighting, he will be just fine, but he is not going to just walk away with his tail between his legs either. I hope he destroys HFTF and then Hope will finally understand what it means to betray your family and choose the "bad" boy over your own husband and child.
I definitely hope for more interesting things than whining for SC’s character!

The only thing I want at this point is, that when Liam finds out, he says he is tired. There has been too much drama between Thomas and Hope for years. Hope has two families and the one which should be first (her marriage, Liam and Beth) comes last in her priorities. I agree with the balance. My disagreement with the Tridge SLs from last year is the way the show handled them.
I would love for Liam to find a place of his own. Nice seeing Liam’s Spencer office, and as I mentioned in another thread, I assume it will be getting more airtime.

No way.....I hope he gives her a divorce and tells her to enjoy banging the man that wanted their child to be dead forever, but that she should buckle her seat belt, because SP is about to ruin her precious "baby" HFTF. Let Hope find out what it would be like to be with Tom, when there is no line to save and nothing to work on together. LOL
