I wish they weren't disclosing location shoot reunions (Spoilers)

So annoying... Now we basically know Bridge will reunite in Rome. Why are they disclosing these things like 5 weeks in advance? They did the same last year with Steffy and Finn in Monaco. The audience already knew exactly how the story would end, several weeks in advance. They revealed that Steffy and Finn would reunite in Monaco; there was no more reason to enjoy the story for me. I was bored the entire time. It backfired on the writers big time if I remember well, because the unexpected parts (Tridge kiss and Sheacon's discussion) completely overshadowed this lame, predictable reunion.

What's so fascinating about Brooke and Ridge reuniting for the 20th time? All this label switch, CPS call, parent trap... and all is forgiven and forgotten in a few weeks. Where is the fun when the audience already knows they will get back together in Italy? I sure hope they have something unpexpected in store for Hope Thomas Liam and Steffy, and they DON'T reveal anything until the week before it airs. They better make this reveal about Thomas-Hope epic, with drama, blood and tears.

They do these international shoots to gainviwers. While the ratings weren’t amazing, I have heard several newer fans say that's when they started watching. The other soaps don’t do them. Also, Italy loves Bold, and Bridge is a big part of that.
I am with you would rather it all be a secret until it airs but also understand they need ratings. The worst example IMO was revealing Sheila was Finn’s mom before it aired but they got their ratings spike so it worked,

I hope that like Sinn’s reunion the other things happening are really the stories to watch. That was the beginning of Tridge & Sheacon and both led to major stories down the line. Something has to happen with Thomas & Hope and Liam & Steffy. Then back in LA there are other stories simmering. Hopefully we only know a tiny bit of the story.

It just makes Brooke look easy and cheap. All these speeches about her freedom, self-respect, empowerment will fly out of the window if all it takes Ridge is a beautiful Italian scenery.

The show itself didn't disclose anything about the Bridge reunion, and I don't think Bell actually wanted it to be leaked. Those videos and pictures of Bridge kissing weren't taken by any authorized set photographer but by paparazzi working for Italian newspapers and gossip sites. These days it's almost impossible to avoid such leaks when you're doing a location shoot in public places in a big city like Rome, because you just can't keep bystanders so far away from the set that no one can catch a glimpse of the action. And even more importantly, you can't keep them from posting their photos and videos on the internet for the whole world to see.
I'm sure there were also leaks in Italian newspapers when the show filmed there a few times in the 90s, the only difference was that no one outside Italy could see those pictures and so it was still the show's own choice what to leak to the American audience in advance and what to keep a secret. But now it's simply not up to them anymore.

The Sinn reunion in Monte Carlo couldn't be kept a secret in the first place, because the actors were also representing the show at the TV festival. When the festival released a list of the actors attending the public events and the show announced that they were also doing a location shoot, it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that this shoot was about a Sinn reunion, given that Finn had just returned from the dead and JMW was just returning from her maternity leave in those Monte Carlo scenes. So the show could as well admit it right away.
