I can only find a small clip. This scene comes after Brooke told Hope that she was not a mistake but that she Brooke was ashamed of having an affair with her daughters husband. Maybe Hope is not angry about Brooke scandals in general. Maybe she’s angry that her mother is so ashamed of the Breacon affair. I don’t know I’m grasping for straws and I admit it.

TweetIf all this is about Deacon, then they should let it be about Deacon. Even bring deacon in on the healing process. But they are making it about Brooke's entire past, and I resent it.
I resent also having to go over it again and again and again. It's like riding back and forth over roadkill. This show knows no other plot than beat up on Brooke for 35 plus years. And they let everyone do it, even Wyatt and Finn, who have the worst mothers on the show.

These are my issues:
1) Brooke raised Hope ALONE. She could've gotten rid of her or put her up for adoption but she didn't. Shes taken all the garbage that everyone including now her own daughter.
2) If Hope is so angry about being like her mother then WHY doesn't she leave Brooke's estate. Put your money where your mouth is you brat. She is behaving just as badly as everyone else.
3) If Hope decides to take a sledgehammer to her life. It's on her. Brooke needs to just tell everyone around her to talk to Hope about her actions and leave her out of it.

I want to know why it has to be that she's like Brooke. Why isn't she like Katie or Donna? Why isn't she like Bridget? They all were attracted to bad boys and inappropriate relationships.
Bridget was the original lover of the bad boy! And does Hope know how Bridget got Logan? I guess Hope forgot about how mad she was when Katie went after Ridge?
And today, Steffy calls Thomas the biggest bad boy in Hope's life. I still say that's Wyatt. Why do they forget Wyatt?

But Ridge didn't even GO BACK AND FORTH. They got him believing their lies! When Ridge married Taylor, the only time he got with Brooke were when Taylor was "Dead." and then the final time, they were grown or gone to boarding school when he left Taylor -- but Brooke was NOT an option for him at that time.
So I don't know where they get that crap from, either. I guess they think original viewers are not watching? But we are.

That is true, he only got with Brooke after Taylor was DEAD, and Ridge only got with Taylor when Caroline was DEAD, but everybody is telling different stories now, and that what makes the show hard to watch.

And writing Taylor as the perpetual looser! Brooke is winning by getting Ridge back. I hope they won’t throw Steffy under the bus by having her leave Finn for Liam because it would be too much for us Taylor fans
I don't think the woman who gets Ridge is the "winner". I hope though that now they at least will stay together for a longer time. Brooke certainly is IT for him, but Ridge cannot be trusted.

I am hoping they will write Brooke and Ridge together forever, and never mention Taylor's involvement again, unless it talked about as the past, when they were young together and having their children.

I think Hope may have some resentment for how she came to be. I think that her mother has been judged and talked about so much that she feels the weight of trying to be the opposite of Brooke. Years ago Rick said that he had to deal with kids in school talking about his mom especially her being with Ridge who was his brother & stepfather. I’m sure the same happened to Hope most of her life. Brooke is well known not only for her business acumen but for her scandals as well.
