She’s rich but has no class just like her grandmother Stephanie. That’s my interpretation.

Steffy is nuts IMO. If she really cared about her brother’s progress, she wouldn’t have included Thomas in the ultimatum in the first place. People don’t get over obsession over night. She forced and blindsided Hope with this ultimatum, then said to Taylor “Hope has to say yes” to Thomas coming back. And now suddenly, she’s mad at Hope for “derail” his progress? What a crazy witch with her rude outburst.

Icam about Steffy, but I respectfully disagree about Hope.

While it's true Steffy gave Hope an ultimatum at some point, a lot of things have been said afterwards. I blame Hope for not even TRYING to consider another option. We never saw Hope contacting her billionaire FIL and asking him to fund her line. We never saw Hope looking up for another designer on the net, or even considering it. Liam mentionned that she could start over with a brand new line, Hope didn't even consider it. It has been said more than once that either Thomas or Hope could work from home so they wouldn't have to interact, Hope immediately shut the idea down. Recently, both Ridge and Steffy told Hope that she can stop working with Thomas if she feels uncomfortable and they will try to find another solution. Hope immediately said she wants to continue working with Thomas. She has told him more than once how happy she is to work with him, how he inspires her. Bell even said she "revels" in her association with Thomas. She has flat out told Liam that she would stop working with Thomas if anything weird happened, yet she didn't follow through after the fall on his lap and the following long intense look he had for her. And since then, she is making zero effort to lower her time with him. No attempt to find another model for the dress fitting. She keeps modelling for him even knowing it gives her vapors. It has been said she is spending nights at Eric's with her "other family" and taking Beth with her. She is planning a business trip with him when she could easily ask other coworkers for it. It's just one bad decision after another, but frankly she seems to enjoy her time with Thomas. She hasn't complained once since she rehired him.

Douglas is hardly ever mentionned in Thomas and Hope's conversations. I can't remember the last time he was on. Co-parents don't have to spend so much time together. Hope could easily send Amelia or hire another nanny to pick up Douglas and drive him to Thomas.

So while I agree about Steffy, I can not blame her for all of Hope's bad decisions either. But yep, Steffy has always been smug. I suspect the bus will run her over next if Liam and Hope separate. Soon she will see Liam lonely and start fantasizing about him, it woudln't surprise me at all.

I agree with a lot of this. You're right. She has made no effort to distance herself now that she's having these weird feelings, either. And she's making Liam feel wrong for picking up on it. I don't appreciate her making Liam feel like he's not really sensing something when he is. Of course he blames it on Thomas because he can't imagine his wife would be like this.

Except Thomas isn't doing anything wrong. If he's obsessed, Hope is feeding that obsession, so he's plenty happy right now.

Steffy has done her due diligence. She has questioned Hope about this weeks ago. She has questioned Thomas about it several times. She has observed these two together. She has listened to Hope's husband who thinks something is up with Hope and now she has observed Hope stammering and gazing at Thomas.

I don't see what Steffy is getting wrong. Yes, she is a bull in a China shop rude, just like Stephanie, but it doesn't make her wrong.

Steffy gave Hope the choice and Hope chose to bring Thomas back. Steffy didn't threaten to cancel the line, she said she was considering pausing it. She did not force Hope and Thomas to work together, and she isn't pushing Thomas on Hope and Steffy definitely doesn't want Liam.

The blame rests on Hope because all of this has been Hope's choice. Hope chose to work with Thomas, chose to work long hours with Thomas, continues to model for him and allow Thomas to put his hands on her. Hope grabbed Thomas's hands and looked longingly and lustfully into Thomas's eyes and caress his hand. This is all on Hope.

I agree with a lot of this, but Hope ain't no hostage. She doesn't want to leave because she has the hots for Thomas. It's always been. She makes it about that line but it's not.

I disagree. She would have the hots for him before the ultimatum, but the hots for Thomas appeared with the ultimatum and after the last drama with Douglas.

I have no problem with Steffy talking to her like that because everyone else treats her with kid gloves. They act like she's some fragile porcelain doll that will break. Hope is a married woman who has romantic feelings for another man. No mental illness is involved, it's just typical soap stuff.

Why yell at someone, though, over feelings? Does she think Hope would WANT to be feeling this way? Obviously, she doesn't since she looks horrified over it and always immediately overcompensates with Liam. Steffy's approach is awful.

Exactly... Douglas pressed his father's case very shortly before Hope's fantasies started. I know a lot of people don't agree with this and they see Douglas as a non factor, but he is one of the factors in my opinion. Douglas wanting his parents to stop being at odds and his comment about wanting his parents living in the same house mean something. HFTF was also extremely important for Hope before Thomas was even in town. We all remember Hope's reaction when Steffy and Ridge decided to stop HFTF for the intimates line. She doesn't work with Thomas because she wants to work with him specifically. She really is that into her line.

Ain’t that the truth! Steffy purposely blindsided Hope with her “unreasonable” ultimatum, then turned right around and told her mother Taylor that Hope “has to say yes” to Thomas coming back. It’s clear to me what Steffy’s true intentions were. She can pretend all she wants that she cared about Thomas’ well being, I’m not buying it at all. Steffy is nothing but a two-faced snake..says one thing and does the opposite.
