A new younger leading lady is coming (General)

It was announced that B&B is bringing in a new younger actress around RJ’s age to be RJ’s new love interest. They’re also saying they found an incredible actress to play the roll and teases that RJ and her will be the new Ridge & Brooke type couple that’ll be the new super couple for long term future of the show. At least they’re bringing in some new characters for a change and not pairing him with the horrible character of Paris. (I’m thinking Paris will soon be on her way out since there’s NOTHING on the show for her, probably Zende as well).

Nothing for Matthew Atkinson, interesting, RJ been on for one day and already they are recruting someone for him.

MA was brought to be AN's love interest, Bell says so from day-1. I doubt they are casting a new actress for him. If Thomas ends up with someone it will be Hope and I think it's clearly what they're building up right now.

There is no one in RJ's age group. It isn't like he can be angst for Steffy or Hope's relationships. If they want to pair him with someone they HAVE TO bring at least one young lady for him.

Understand, but disappointed, even that MA was brought in for AN's love interest is so disappointing.

MA did chemistry test with AN, but I don't recall Bell actually said that MA was brought to be AN's love interest. If so, why would Bell actually said from day 1 that Thope "aren't root worthy"? And why haven't Bell already paired them romantically? It's been several years now since MA started.

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.

I blame the writer’s agenda to use Thope to break up Lope for a return to Steam as the problem.

I don’t feel like the writers care about Thomas himself. He’s a tool and collateral damage in the show’s agenda to circle back to Liam and Steffy.

I’ve suggested real love story ideas for Thomas. I’m not a fan but I don’t hate him and I do think he could have a good story but the writers need to care about him beyond him being a device to break up Lope for that to happen.

Thope will never be a true love story for Thomas. It just doesn’t have the foundation for it.

There are other men who could be paired with Hope if the show is determined to do Leffy. She could give Finn something to do since he’ll need something if the show’s plan of Leffy succeeds.

Hope is fantasizing about Thomas, and so far it has NOTHING to do with Steffy or Liam!!! The opposite is more likely! I think Steffy will be used as collateral damage to justify Hope and Thomas. Hope will try to fight her feelings for Thomas until she misinterprets something or sees a warm moment between Steffy and Liam, and she will think Liam isn't really committed to her and use it as an excuse to give in to her fantasies!

Even if Liam loses Hope, there is no guarantee he will go back to Steffy and no guarantee she will leave Finn. It took her 9 months to leave Wyatt when Liam came back, so I doubt she would leave Finn overnight, regardless of her feelings for Liam.

I hope the OP is right about RJ. He deserves better than Paris.

Not surprised that they cast a new younger leading lady as RJ's love interest given that Bell mentioned he wanted to build the next gen. I'm just happy he's not goint to be stuck in a triangle with motormouth liar Paris, and Zende.

Oh goody a show about teens ..

Nothing against RJ or the actor who plays him, he seems like a nice guy. But I'm not sure I'll be interested in these teen romances front and center. I don't want to see another Bridge or another version of Lope/Steam with RJ and 2 girls fighting over him. I prefer they focus on the Thomas/Hope/Liam/Steffy/Finn age group for now. Bring a new girl for either Thomas or Liam and let her be with the guy Hope doesn't choose. Wyatt needs a new romance as well. I don't mind if they write a romance for RJ, but it shouldn't overshadow the old and middle gen.

Wyatt and Flo was a new pairing. They had the longest engagement in soap history.

And now Wyatt comes back to LA, suddenly single.

So I'm thinking maybe him and Flo broke up off screen.

And if that’s the case then yes a new woman should be brought on for Wyatt too. They get married and Wyatt finally becomes a father.

Wyatt’s mom Quinn need to return as a recast.
So she can see her son marry the new woman.
Show hasn’t been the same without her.

A bunch of male characters and no women.
RJ, and whoever will have a little summer story while they prepare for the grown up story next year - Hope and Liam break up, Return to Steam,
Sheila is back legally and with Deacon.
Young people show is short lived.

Katie is what fifty she is older than the Liam Hope steffy group..Justin must be fifty too…I agree r.j a summer thing as though teens watch soaps when no school..yea right

KKL and MA need and deserve new love interests. Both have had to sit and wait.
