Why didn’t jack divorce Li (General)

I'm not sure he really loved Sheila. I think there might be something to Li's being too busy at the hospital and Jack was odd man out and being a man with needs he found an all too wiling Sheila to play house in the uniform closet. She served her purpose, got pregnant, and gave him the child.

He loved Li and wanted that marriage to work and it did for many years until Finn married Steffy and all the loose ends came to the surface. I think Jack would still take Li back if she would accept him. And she has not negotiated a divorce so she must not be completely over him either.

If he knocked up shelia and loved her why not just divorce and shelia and jack raise Finn…..it makes no sense ….divorce would be better than a hoax …….Shelia and that ending smirk sick of her pulling faces …she is annoying…so who will visit shelia next everybody get a turn now….where’s her lawyer?

And all she's basically doing now is offering her body in exchange him representing her in court. That's pathetic.

He didn't correct her, and it would have been easy to do so. He also didn't need to come up there in person. Unlike her other visitors, he didn't come in ready to confront her. He asked what she wanted.

I think it is being written that he did love her but chose Li over her. This scene was not for nothing. Pretty sure he will go home and look love the case, and we will see him back at the prison within the next two weeks.

Don't get me wrong, I think this is a total rewrite. When they were first presented, there was nothing between them. Neither seemed interested in the other. They were cordial, that's it. But...

That hasn't been confirmed. She is referring to back in the day when Sheila was pregnant with Finn. Li has said her marriage didn't last, so I think they may be divorced.

That seems most likely. I would rather he do it because everyone deserves a legal defense, and the case is sketchy. Then he has room to come back from it. He is just acting as an attorney. Doing it as some revenge because his feelings are hurt is pathetic.
