Which storyline do you think they submitted? i think the SINN shooting

What else could they submit? This storyline covered more than half of the year. The rest was all Bridge angst. (label switch and CPS scam)

That’s a great question. The shooting was the most dramatic episode. It’s got to be something that involved Sheila. She was the focus of the whole year.

Sheila definitely carried this show in dull Sinn story. JMO.

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.

That episode included the big fight between Sheila and Li as I recall. That was good, too.

This storyline was mostly about Steffy vs Sheila's rivalry, Steffy's amnesia, Sheila's secret. And a way to accommodate JMW's maternity leave and send her off screen after Steffy remembered Sheila was the shooter. I never saw it as a Sinn storyline. He was presumed dead for 6 weeks and then Steffy left town for 2 months. Outside of the Monte-Carlo scenes, they were never on canvas at the same time (and after Monte-Carlo, the drama immediately shifted to Brooke-Ridge-Taylor).

Steffy stole the show …Bell really made her front and center …good acctress …..another Bridge breakup that’s no biggie ….I mean again really I doubt that’s bringing in excitement ..jmo

Other soaps must be beyond cataclysmic if Bold wins an Emmy for the writing. The last few years were unwatchable.

I will be happy if B&B wins, but all of the other soaps were also nominated for Outstanding Daytime Drama. The Young and the Restless has three actresses nominated for leading actress and two actors nominated for leading actors. Sharon Case, Michelle Stafford and Melissa Claire Egan are nominated for leading actress and Peter Bergman and Jason Thompson are nominated for leading actor. I hope Bold and the Beautiful wins, but they are facing some tough competition. I also think that they nominated the Sinn shooting scene.

Y and r had good stuff they shake things up ….this show is usualy rewash ….musta been shooting of steffy and Finn jmo…doesn’t general hospital usual win most …I think so

I think its hilarious when people get excited that B&B got nominated for best daytime drama. Of course it did, there are only three daytime drama’s on now (B&B, Y&R and GH… I don’t think Days is considered a daytime soap anymore is it?). I mean, what other daytime dramas CAN they nominate. It’s not like they’re going to win, or even deserve to win. Out of the three, its the worst one. If there were still more soaps on daytime like there used to be, B&B would have been cancelled by now and CERTAINLY would not be nominated for anything.
