This burning desire for Thomas isn't sudden.
And this isn't OOC for Hope to fall for other guys. She was still attracted to her first love long after the wall sex with Brooke and long after she met Liam. It took her a long time to make a final choice and let her first boyfriend Oliver go. She became smitten when she met Wyatt even though she and Liam were making wedding plans. She rejected Liam a few times for Wyatt and had a divided heart until she left town. I don't think this passion for Thomas is new. I doubt there is a medical breakdown. She's finally admitting it to herself. There were a lot of worrying signs long before her first fantasy. The only thing on her mind was Beth when they were married, she wasn't ready. But afterwards she was often ambiguous around Thomas. For example :
- When he was with Zoe, she looked jealous. The way she was hiding and spying on them kissing was ambiguous. She had a strong reaction when he proposed to Zoe. At the time she claimed it was only concerns for Douglas, but it was more.
- Before Steam's night, she was spending more time with Thomas and Douglas than her husband. One of the reasons why Liam lost faith when his GPS lagged and indicated Hope was still in his apartment. Up until she found him with the mannequin, they were making googly eyes, having family dinners, etc... She trusted Thomas over Liam regarding the reason why he had the mannequin. When Liam confronted her, she blamed him for not trusting her but his instincts were correct. She didn't know at the time, but the feelings were already there.
- There were a few ambiguous scenes las year and not only the ''hot'' comment with Paris. The t-shirt change when she stared at his bare chest and couldn't take her eyes off him. The hand contact, she had some dizziness after he put his hand on hers on the table. All the loving looks before and after the fashion show. And the tears in her eyes when she rejected his kiss and said she couldn't be what he wanted because she is married. Not the rejection of a woman without feelings. The thought of breaking his heart made her cry and then she looked conflicted when she went home.
I think she's had growing feelings for a long time. The timing looks bizarre now, but it was a long-term process. Thomas kept disappointing her and proving he couldn't change, so it was harder to admit her feelings. I don't think she was lying on purpose. She was in denial and locked her feelings away until now. Perhaps he has genuinely changed this time, and that's how she finally acknowledges her feelings for him. This is my personal interpretation, I could be wrong.

I remember how she left Liam alone at the cabin while she spent some nights at the Forrester mansion with Douglas, Beth and Thomas. It was like she was building another family and Liam was the odd man out pouting alone at the cabin.

Unfortunately something tells me they are going to throw Steffy and Liam under the buss all over again if they want to justify Thope. They always do that when Hope is getting too close to another guy, the writers give her an excuse to blame it on Liam or Steffy and justify her actions. I can already picture Steffy wanting to reassure Liam and comfort him as a friend but they end up kissing or something. I doubt it will be another one-night-stand this time, but a kiss or a very intimate hug. Someone sees them and reports it to Hope, and it will justify her running to Thomas.
Even if she ends up having an ONS or ongoing affair with Thomas, the writers will find a way to blame it on Liam or Steffy, I'm sure. It will turn out she had a tumor or PTSD (probably caused by Liam and Steffy's past too) and wasn't herself. And if Liam dumps her, he will be the lousy, negligent husband who didn't take his wife to a doctor or a specialist. I pray and hope I'm wrong but this would be a Bell typical move.

I saw a lil something during the last story but they usually tease and then nothing. This is new. Hope is desiring Thomas in an intimate way even while sexing her husband. She fell on top of him and haven’t been the same since.

Nice to see you again here. I enjoyed our interactions. I agree, she has known Thomas for so long, I don't think her feelings came out of nowhere. Nothing traumatizing happened to her since Beth's kidnapping. Nothing particular happened lately, most storylines were related to Sheila and Hope wasn't part of them. A long process of growing feelings is the only rational explanation. Brooke's comment about bad boys and the fact that he saved her line are the 2 factors that triggered her burried feelings. And who knows, maybe beeing on top of him on this couch and so close to his face made her realize something too... I don't l know. Until now I never thought she had feelings for Thomas. I blamed her years of bad decisions on her own stupidity and selfishness. From their first "kiss" in 2019 until that accidental fall last week, she made bad decisions after bad decisions. And has been keeping so many secrets about Thomas... Just never thought the writers would actually go there
But now yeah, all those "moments" she had with Thomas look a lot more suspicious all of a sudden. It makes me doubt and question every looks, every words, every scenes they had together. Was she jealous of Zoe after all? Does she want to work with him because he keeps her line afloat or because she needed a pretext to have him around her? Was she lying to herself or lying to Liam all the times she judged him for not trusting her and promised she would never have feelings for Thomas? A lot of her scenes with Douglas have been very ambiguous over the years, too. I have yet to hear Hope taking a moment alone with Douglas and clearly explaining she is NEVER going to be with his father. She and Thomas have always stringed this poor kid along and given him false hopes. Every time he says he hopes one day they can be a family, they deflect and don't answer. So many unanswered questions, sadly I doubt they will ever be addressed.

I stopped posting last year because the storylines weren't worthy. I'm a bit more than 1 year behind in my country but I still download and watch the american episodes on Cbs.com. I just didn't bother posting anymore because everything bored me.
This Thomas-Hope thing made my interest go up again. I had a soft spot for these 2 actors together, since the day MA came in. I always thought it would amount to something one day and I'm happy to see it's finally happening. Even if they never end up together, I'm glad that their attraction isn't one-sided anymore. If it isn't love it's certainly a strong physical attraction. It turns out Thomas wasn't that delusional after all. Nothing will ever excuse his actions but his predictions about Hope came true.

Yet, she shot Thomas down immediately when he tried to kiss her after the fashion show..she told him straight up that she's in love with her husband Liam. If she has this "burning desire" for a good long while, she would've went for a passionate kiss back then, but she didn't
And I never saw her jealous of Zomas..I didn't see her throw herself at Thomas or tried to seduce him away from Zoe either.
The timing looks bizzare now because it was only after her mother's random "bad boys" comment that she suddenly out of nowhere started to fantasize about "bad boy" Thomas. Looks to me, this "bad boys" comment is tricking her mind right now..it's messing with her head. JMO.

Hope has never been jealous of any other woman wanting Thomas. Today she looked thrilled! And she has had every opportunity to be with Thomas if she wanted to. I mean, when Liam had sex with Steffy, that was her perfect "get out of jail free" card, except Hope loves Liam and does not feel imprisoned in her marriage. She can appreciate a man looking nice, just like any normal person. She loves her husband, and does not lust after Thomas. I will LMAO if it is shown she has some brain bleed causing her to hallucinate!

How is that being like "mommy"? Hope hasn't cheated. Hope has had sex with all of two men in her entire life. She never had a paternity test. Steffy is more like Brooke - actually, worse than Brooke. Taylor is also as bad as if not worse than Brooke. But Hope? Sex with two men and she is over 30 is somehow a terrible person or something?

That's exactly what I am saying. All those examples/scenes were ambiguous at the time. It wasn't clear what it was. Why did she stare at Thomas' bare chest like that? Why did she cry and looked so heartbroken when she rejected his kiss after the fashion show? Why did she have dizziness when he put his hands on her. Why did they look at each other in the eyes like that after they fell on the couch? Why admit that he is hot, no matter how much Paris insisted? All those scenes were ambiguous.
But now that she is having several fantasies and visions of Thomas, it all starts to make sense. And my interpretation is that she has been attracted to Thomas for a long time. Maybe it will be something else, maybe not. We will see.

But there was a shift later.I think it may have started when she thought she killed him. When he appeared in her bedroom, she jumped into his arms and coudln't let it go. It looked like it was a lot more than relief. I don't know exactly when it started but there were signs, especially last year. The looks, the eyeing when he changed his shirt, the ''hot'' comment with Paris and the tears in her eyes when after he tried to kiss her, etc..
She thought she could have accidentally killed someone, of course she would be happy she didn't. The "hot" comment has been soooooo taken out of context and Hope had to be coaxed to say it and she followed it up with the fact that HER HUSBAND is the HOTTEST MAN on the planet, so that is nothing. Paris wouldn't leave her alone, FGS. She was trying to feel good about the line and had thought Thomas changed, then there he was again being a disingenuous AHOLE. Yet nothing is said about the sheer glee Steffy shows when talking about possible problems in Lope's marriage for something Steffy insisted HAD to happen!

Maybe you saw things as ambiguous. I surely did not. I didn't even see any crying and heartbroken over the kiss attempt - I saw her being disappointed that she once again trusted him and he was being a jerk once agin. She didn't have any "dizziness" when he put his hands on her. There is a lot of inserting things that didn't really happen to force a scenario that simply wasn't shown. Sorry, but my opinion isn't changed. Nothing was ambiguous. Hope has been forthright.

Paris INITIATED that "hot" conversation, NOT Hope. I think if Hope is so super attracted to him, she would start that conversation, but it was definitely not on her mind at all. Paris started it..then she went on and on and on about how "hot" Thomas is. Hope only agree with her just to shut her up, so they can get back to work.
And let's not forget that Hope actually said to Paris that she thinks HER HUSBAND Liam is the hottest guy in the world. That's what I saw on my screen.

And this isn't OOC for Hope to fall for other guys. She was still attracted to her first love long after the wall sex with Brooke and long after she met Liam. It took her a long time to make a final choice and let her first boyfriend Oliver go. She became smitten when she met Wyatt even though she and Liam were making wedding plans. She rejected Liam a few times for Wyatt and had a divided heart until she left town. I don't think this passion for Thomas is new. I doubt there is a medical breakdown. She's finally admitting it to herself. There were a lot of worrying signs long before her first fantasy. The only thing on her mind was Beth when they were married, she wasn't ready. But afterwards she was often ambiguous around Thomas. For example :- When he was with Zoe, she looked jealous. The way she was hiding and spying on them kissing was ambiguous. She had a strong reaction when he proposed to Zoe. At the time she claimed it was only concerns for Douglas, but it was more.
- Before Steam's night, she was spending more time with Thomas and Douglas than her husband. One of the reasons why Liam lost faith when his GPS lagged and indicated Hope was still in his apartment. Up until she found him with the mannequin, they were making googly eyes, having family dinners, etc... She trusted Thomas over Liam regarding the reason why he had the mannequin. When Liam confronted her, she blamed him for not trusting her but his instincts were correct. She didn't know at the time, but the feelings were already there.
- There were a few ambiguous scenes las year and not only the ''hot'' comment with Paris. The t-shirt change when she stared at his bare chest and couldn't take her eyes off him. The hand contact, she had some dizziness after he put his hand on hers on the table. All the loving looks before and after the fashion show. And the tears in her eyes when she rejected his kiss and said she couldn't be what he wanted because she is married. Not the rejection of a woman without feelings. The thought of breaking his heart made her cry and then she looked conflicted when she went home.I think she's had growing feelings for a long time. The timing looks bizarre now, but it was a long-term process. Thomas kept disappointing her and proving he couldn't change, so it was harder to admit her feelings. I don't think she was lying on purpose. She was in denial and locked her feelings away until now. Perhaps he has genuinely changed this time, and that's how she finally acknowledges her feelings for him. This is my personal interpretation, I could be wrong.
i agree and right now, Hope's being a human and human beings make mistakes. not a first on the soap.
