The magic of Caridge was a man who'd lost his ability to design falling for the woman who helped him rediscover it and the woman falling for man whom she'd long admired and wound up saving. Thope is not that. Sure AN and MA have similar (not as electric) chemistry to TK and LG but Hope falling for the man who stalked her and helped keep her baby from her is a little weird. That's what happening though. She couldn't look her mother in the eye during parts of their discussion about Thomas. She peaked at Thomas from behind the screen and then when she fell on top of him onto the sofa she looked him up and down like a filet mignon. Liam's talking about not trusting Thomas but it's wife he needs to worry about. Thomas has been on his best behavior. It's Hope who's gonna initiate things this time.

No one will ever compare to Caridge. Certainly not Homas. Hope is the most annoying twit ever and Thomas is a creepy predator. I am still convinced he killed her. Her death was never properly explained. A blood clot my bad. Exactly when Dr. Reese switched the babies Caroline dies and Thomas comes back, I will never believe this coicidence. She knew things about his past and he silenced her like he did Emma. This is abudantly clear for this viewer.

Caridge was never a love story..it was just Ridge going through midlife crisis and he used his brother's WIFE for pencil sex and they carried on a very inappropriate emotional affair Rick got upset and committed adultery BECAUSE of what sick Caridge did, so IMO Caroline cheated first and she deserved the heartbreak.

I think this will be a big fakeout. We have yet to see this "fantasy", and every person, whether they admit to it or not, has fantasized at some point or another. It has no meaning unless it is acted upon.
I suppose it's just a case of bad writing...the writers seem to have no plan to give Hope a real reason why she should be attracted by Tom.
So they do it without any reason at all, just because.
(Unless they are having a very clever plan which we, the dumb viewers, do not see through...?)

Most soap characters have loved 2 people at the same time at once. Steffy is with Finn but she would waffle if Liam was actively chasing her. Liam isn't waffling now but he would be Steffy was chasing him. I think this is going to be like Lope vs Hott. Hope will be torn, but she will always love Liam more. They will be manipulated but maybe not by Thomas this time. Thomas will still be the interloper but in a different way. But in the end it will always be Liam and Hope.
I have to give you that the timing is bizarre. This could have happened any time in the last 4 years, when Liam was in jail for instance. Why now, that's what I'm wondering.

No, Hope is not lying about Lope being happily married for a very long time. The timing is bizarre because there's NO romantic Thope coming, so there's no reason needed. Fantasizing about someone doesn't mean it would actually happen in/or become a reality.

The magic of Caridge was a man who'd lost his ability to design falling for the woman who helped him rediscover it and the woman falling for man whom she'd long admired and wound up saving. Thope is not that. Sure AN and MA have similar (not as electric) chemistry to TK and LG but Hope falling for the man who stalked her and helped keep her baby from her is a little weird. That's what happening though. She couldn't look her mother in the eye during parts of their discussion about Thomas. She peaked at Thomas from behind the screen and then when she fell on top of him onto the sofa she looked him up and down like a filet mignon. Liam's talking about not trusting Thomas but it's wife he needs to worry about. Thomas has been on his best behavior. It's Hope who's gonna initiate things this time.

Not sure about CARIDGE, but has everyone forgotten about QUERIC? The goat fell in love with the woman who tried to kill several members of his family! If the writers could keep QUERIC together for so many years and make them a true love story, then he can do the same with THOPE! I don't think Hope is gonna initiate things but it will be good to watch her with conflicted feelings! 
I think she is gonna fire Thomas, keep her attraction for him secret, try to lower her time with him and hope it's temporary! But not seeing him will have the opposite effect, she will think about him more and more... this is how I foresee it!
