I won't speak for Bell but it seems like he sees this crazy story as a redemption for the 3 stooges.
Bill falling in love with Sheila was bad. But knowing he was playing her should make him look better? Forget that he broke the law, almost killed someone and put his family through hell.
Ridge left town as a waffling cheater. Completely humiliated, abandonned, dumped by the 2 women he loves. But knowing he participated in this criminal plan (and lied to everyone about it) will make him desirable again?
Deacon stalked a married woman, associated with Sheila for many months and manipulated policemen. But knowing he agreed to help Ridge and Bill in the end will magically erase the last 2 years? lol

Had the opposite effect for me. Bill still slept with Sheila and ignored his family. Ridge is still a disgusting womanizer who exposed his daughter to a woman who tried to kill her twice. Deacon is still a filthy bum who associated with 2 devilish women. And now all 3 have participated in a manipulative perilous, illicit (and totally useless) plan to trick a person who was already under arrest and facing a life imprisonment. Saying this plan was useless is an understatement.

Taylor also looks worse than ever after this story. She has proved she loves herself more than her children and grandchildren. The lying attempted murderess who let the man she claims to love vegetate in a prison cell for her own crimes. She has now let her daughter set Sheila free instead of taking responsibility for her crimes. Any good mother would have raced to the police station and made sure Sheila would be arrested, even if that means she was also going to jail. But no. Her own freedom was more important than her daughter's safety. Just because Bill "exonerated" her doesn't make her any less of a coward and contemptible mother.

I’m asking same question below. I don’t feel great about Bill, Ridge or Deacon but I don’t know. Deacon is still a sleaze, as is Bill. They both knowingly slept with Sheila. I don’t know what Ridge could ever say or do to make up for what he’s done.

This storyline is disgusting and it really feels like it had no purpose. I would feel better about it if Sheila hadn’t already been in prison. All it did is make me think Bill is vile. I never had an issue with him before but now...
I will hold out judgement on Deacon until we learn his role. I still hate Ridge so nothing new there.

The Tridge Clan ends up smelling like a rose as always.
Makes me sick.

And it doesn't make her less of a criminal because she still shot Bill in the back. Him exonerating her doesn't make this less of a crime.
I agree this story was completely useless and unnecessary as Sheila already had been behind bars again and they had Bill blackmail Steffy to get Sheila out again just because he wanted her to be sent back to prison...can someone please explain to me what was the point of this?:roll
