Fallout (General)
1. The men: I have had very negative feelings about Ridge, Deacon and Bill for some time . I wanted and still want the show to hire new love interests for the women. This plot doesn’t resolve the negativity I feel about these characters, but I guess as far as soaps go, I feel a little better. They are stereotypical soap characters. And at the same time, it is not lost on me that Deacon and Bill had sex with Sheila as part of the trap. I don’t know why I feel yucky about that.
2. New/renewed couplings: bad news for Carter. Katie hasn’t slept with Carter. That’s intentional. I still have high hopes for Li and Bill, but I think Batie returns.
3. Sheila blames Steffy, still. It’s all Steffy’s fault. KB says Sheila know secrets. I assume she’s about to wreak havoc with info. Who knows what Sheila knows? The Taylor thing could be minor.
4. Sheila loves Deacon and Deacon still loves Sheila. He chose Hope over Sheila, but he’s not absolved.

From Sheila's perspective, she blames Steffy and I can see why. Ridge/Bill decided to take her down in this plan because of her shootings of Finn/Steffy. She blames Steffy because Steffy's the one that went to her and confronted her and poked this bear in the first place. That night Sheila actually tried to leave but Steffy insisted on harassing her and stalking her into the dark alley. Of couse, her crime is on her, but Steffy ain't clean either since she insisted on poking the bear all the way into the dark alley. Had Steffy just let Sheila leave, she and Finn wouldn't have gotten shot.

I can't stand 3 attempted murderers standing around, talking about how Sheila will pay for attempted murder -- especially when they took it upon themselves to absolve another attempted murderess.

Taylor is written to get away with everything, I guess to reinforce stereotypes that rich people are held to a different standard. At the same time, if adult characters have consensual sex with a married person, it’s the end of the world. I am no fan of adultery, but I don’t understand why people who commit violent acts against others are excused.
If I were Katie I wouldn't want Bill back after he slept with Sheila for weeks even if it was to bring her down.
