Deacon looked scared today (General)

I was hoping he was in on it , but he looked very nervous when he found out they had been watching and recording Sheila and Ridge was in on it. Maybe he’ll be the one to finally turn her in and redeem himself. Of course, she is just like Michael Myers so she’ll be back to kill him!

I am also hoping that Deacon is in on taking Sheila down. If not, even thought I don't like Thomas and wish Hope wasn't working with him, it would be hypocritical of Deacon talking about Hope working with Thomas while he was living and hanging out with psycho Sheila. For Hope's sake, I am hoping that Deacon has been working with the FBI all along.

All along? Deacon harbored Sheila for several months when Ridge and Bill and everyone else thought she was dead. Even the police believed she was dead. At the very least, Ridge and Bill visited him when the police confirmed Sheila was alive and Deacon changed his mind. But it won't change the fact that he helped her fake her death and protected her all those months in the first place.

That might redeem himself in the eyes of Hope because she is a brainless, naive twit who will never admit she was wrong about her father and that the people who warned her (mostly Liam, Brooke, Ridge, Steffy) were right.

But it shouldn't redeem him with the police. The agreement with his parole officer was clear. One misstep and he goes back to jail for the rest of his life. That's what was said when his officer visited him and he hid Sheila in the bathroom last year. He has not made one misstep but a whole bunch of missteps. 1 year of lies, coverups and putting his family in danger for Sheila...

It sure won't redeem him for me. He is a complex character but I will always see him as a villain.

Not sure they could charge him with anything at all, since Sheila was not found guilty of any crime, when he had her at his apartment, and the victims themselves refused to speak out about her. Technically, Deacon has not done anything legally wrong. The manhunt for her before, he was not hiding her, she was out in the woods. She was declared legally dead. Deacon harbored her AFTER she was declared dead. Once dead, a person is no longer a criminal. They will not be charged with anything. The only thing Deacon did when the parole officer was there was hide a woman no one was looking for, in his bathroom. Now, she is a wanted criminal, so if he hides her now, then he would be harboring a fugitive. And when you think about it, Sheila STILL has not been charged with a crime. She was not arrested when she ran away, she can say she was just running away from Bill, which is her right. They do not have actual visual of her killing Lance, just her saying it to Bill. For all they know she may tell them she just told Bill that to shut him up because she was tired of his wanting to hear some sick story from her. LOL. She could tell them she knew Lance, knew how he died from bees that somehow got in his hotel room, so she just embellished it and told Bill to shut him up.

The sole fact that he destroyed evidences and lied to the police should be enough. Sheila was still considered a dangerous fugitive. Baker was actively looking for her. When Deacon learnt Baker was on his way, he took the footage of the restaurant and deleted it. Then Baker asked if he had informations about Sheila or knew where she was hiding. Deacon said no.
That alone should be enough to send him back to prison for the 3rd time... For the rest of his life this time.

He helped her before she faked her death and was declared dead. August 1 and 2, 2022. She visitied him after she escaped (when Bill and Liam saved Finn, Mike got arrested and Sheila escaped). Deacon let her spend the night and let her go. That was before she faked her death.

Well, Sheila isn't going anywhere from what I'm reading here and there. I don't have any informations myself, but I keep reading that KB recently signed a new contract, that she is still filming and Bell wants to keep her around.

Exactly during Steffy and Finn's reunion in Monaco. Sheila escaped from Li's hotel room (and Baker) and went straight to Deacon's. He welcomed her, let her spend the night and leave.

I truly think in the beginning he was afraid to be associated with her so she bullied him, then he developed real feelings for her. Now he knows she’s a murderer for sure and maybe he wants to protect Hope.

She was not a criminal, even when she thought she was one, for the simple reason, the victims later were not willing to testify in court. Sheila was always a free woman, until she was charged, and even then she was innocent until her day in court, which never happened because Sinn refused to testify. I do not really remember if Sheila ever lived with Deacon in the time between the shooting and her being declared dead. If just after she was declared dead, then he was not harboring a fugitive, because no warrant existed and technically the "fugitive" was dead.

None of it matters on this show. Because if we are going to get all justified on Deacon, then we have to do the same about Steffy, who killed Allie and lied about it and threw the weapon away. Liam, Wyatt and Ivy have been "harboring" her for years. Just like Sheila, Steffy killed someone, does not matter how you do it, the person is dead. Self defense or not, the police and D.A. did not get to decide. Steffy took the law into her own hands and decided for them. Just like Sheila, Steffy was not charged for her crime. Sheila was charged but all charges were dropped. So, in reality, Deacon has done no worse than all those that have harbored and lied about Steffy's role in Allie's death. No different than Ridge lying and protecting Tom knowing full well, he had a hand in the death of Emma. No different than Bill wanting Liam to lie about Vinny. No different than Stephanie taking the blame for Thorne, when he shot Ridge in the head. And no different than all of them harboring Taylor, after she shot Bill.

She wore a mask …she was hideing ….and deacon said if they found her there he would be in trouble…I think they all been rewashed so much hard to keep track

It’s never going to happen but Brooke is treated like dirt for moral failures. Adultery between consenting adults matters more than murder or attempted murder on BB.
