Hope looks hurt and shocked, and spoilers say Douglas finds his voice. I think he wrote his feelings and who he wants to live with. And maybe it ain't Hope, maybe he wants to live with his dad.

It does not make any sense that after all this happy happy joy joy family hugs, Douglas would not want to stay with Hope - at least part of the time.

A real court would not allow a child living with a father he has to keep an eye on...or perhaps because "Daddy is all alone while Mommy has Liam and Beth" (another reason for Douglas choosing his father perhaps)...but we know of course that not a court will decide this but Bell and his writers...

It would be strange writing to give Douglas back to Thomas after all the horrible things he did and after he abused him. In the long term, though, I hope he does wind up back with him. Hope will be devastated, of course, but she would get over it and then she would be free of that psycho Thomas.

If Hope loses Douglas she would be completely free of Thomas. Ridge and Steffy won't allow Thomas back at Forrester so she won't have to have contact with him again.
I'm hoping AN gets her own happy surprise in 2023 after all her personal sadness and Hope has Liams son by the end of 2023. Most soaps have 1 new baby in the new year. Hopefully it's Hope.

He loves his dad…hey Hope still loved her mommy with her sleez history and she loves criminal dad..kids still love their parents even if flawed…Liam was right you get kid..then Tom for life
