I wish Katie had gone to Bill (General)

I thought it was awkward that the writers had Katie wait so long to go talk to Brooke about Taylor. It kind of made the scene awkward that Katie was so upset when she'd heard about this when? What would have been a more powerful scene to me is if Katie had actually gone straight to Bill and maybe they could have talked about him almost dying and talked about her finding him on the floor.
That might have moved the needle some for me about Katie in this SL because it would be demonstrating that she cares for Bill as a human, not just a father placeholder for Will. They could have done it at Spencer or Katie could have asked him to meet at Brooke's or something.
I would really like to have a deep talk between these two about the night he was shot. I also think Katie needs to have mixed feelings about Taylor turning herself in. Someone has to be on a different page around here or we have no angst, just boring repetitive talk.
I would have liked Brooke to have to talk Katie out of turning Taylor in "for now." That would have been dramatic. I really don't buy Will's safety is on the same page as Taylor's with Katie, nor do I buy this never-ending pool of judges Bill can buy. It's not realistic.
