Can't Ridge bribe some judges? (General)

I think Bill can outbid him that’s all.

We'll never know if the writers don't even bring it up as a possibility, which I think is them dropping the ball since Ridge had attempted it before.

I'm tired of all this bribing judges talk. You mean to tell me that the descendants of Stephanie Forrester REALLY can't keep Taylor out of jail if she confesses?

Why can't Ridge bribe some judges for Taylor? I'm sure some judges around there want a FC original under their robe. I'm tired of the thin excuses for why this plot is viable.

I feel like Bill didn’t actually bribe the judge it was more like they have an ongoing relationship. And they do each other favors. It was more about Bill’s power and connections versus money. There is probably more than one judge that he has such a relationship with being a media mogul would carry more influence then a fashion designer.

I also think maybe it is meant to make it seem like the Forresters are above that.

For me, today's episode had one major theme. If Taylor turns herself in, Bill will just keep buying judges to get Sheila out of jail. That's what my OP is based on.

And that's why I brought up Ridge, who actually did bribe or lean on that same judge. The Forresters are not above it at all. jmo

Point blank Steffy doesn't want her mom to go to prison. For her Sheila being in prison isn’t worth her mom going. I would prob feel the same way. But I wish they would just say that and we could move on. Because your are right these all just sound like excuses.

Yeah, it's a choice/decision Steffy made. So now, they need to accept the choice they made. Can't have it both ways..they are NOT the justice system that gets to decide one shooter goes and the other stays free.

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.
