Exactly. It seems to me that Thomas is transferring his anger towards his mother's garbage parenting...to the stepmother who was never anything but good to him. Brooke was more of a mother to the Tots than Taylor ever was.

I never saw Brooke mistreat Steffy, Phoebe or Thomas when they were in her home. They didn’t become angry about Brooke until their mother returned from the dead. They wanted Brooke to step aside. It’s normal for children to think parents deserve a second chance but this narrative that Brooke made Steffy and Thomas crazy is crazy. I see no evidence that she was a wicked Stepmother.

Even though Thomas has given Brooke plenty of reasons to dislike him, I don't think Brooke hates Thomas as much as Thomas hates Brooke. The reason for most of Thomas and Steffy's hate towards Brooke is Taylor. Taylor has lied to both of them about her breakup with Ridge and blamed Brooke when it was actually Taylor's cheating, lying and hypocrisy that caused Ridge to leave her. Brooke was the one that invited Thomas into her home to recuperate after his surgery while Taylor had run away because she tried to murder Bill and couldn't stand to see Ridge happy with Brooke. Taylor didn't even come back to clean up the mess she made when she bought Steffy a stolen baby with a suitcase full of case. Thomas, Steffy and Brooke were getting along fine until Taylor came back to town. Every time Taylor decides to come back to town, she brings drama with her. She gets her kids hating Brooke and then she runs away. Taylor is actually a hateful, spiteful person that has messed up both of her kids, but especially Thomas.

Phoebe never became angry at Brooke She loved Brooke and lived with her and Ridge

Phoebe is the one that when her mother came home, told Ridge she did not want Brooke to leave and it was not right. Phoebe was Ridge's only good child with Taylor. The other two are spoiled, indulged, petulant brats.
