Lemme see that toe again! (General)

I'm glad Finn, a doctor, questioned that chomped-off toe. How in the world can a toe be so perfectly bitten fof and spit out but every other piece of her got eaten?

Good on Finn. And I'm glad he wasn't at all grossed out. As an emergency room doctor, this is totally in his wheelhouse. Good job, writers!

I agree. I am surprised that the detectives didn't think of this.

Yep. Actually, the bone should probably be smashed at the impact site and the skin should be jagged. I kind of thought of that when they first showed the toe, but I chalked it up to terrible props. I didn't think it would actually come down to the way it was ripped off.

If my mother was killed and eaten by a bear I wouldn´t want the police to hand me any of her maimed body parts though...what were they thinking? Who wants the remains of the dead body of a killed relative, other than in an urn or coffin?:roll

That's why I was saying it was fitting for Finn, and ER doctor to get it. He's used to seeing stuff like that all the time. Plus, I don't know if he really looks at her like a mother.

I’m so grateful they have him something else to do than be a yes person. I like him even if I don’t think much of Steffy.

Yes, Finn can be interesting when he is not in Steffy's shadow.

One of the worst plot points ever, again. Why now? Finn was there 6 months ago, when Sanchez showed him the toe. Everyone saw it. Eric, Quinn, Brooke, Ridge,Taylor, Steffy, Thomas, Finn, Li. They were all in the room, they saw the chopped-of toe, they all heard Sanchez's biased conclusions. Nobody questionned anything. They all accepted that she was dead. No questions, no concerns. They all said good riddance, we can move on.

6 months later, Finn sees the toe and all of a sudden he realizes she staged her death. :roll I've the feeling this stroyline is gonna be even worse than Finn's fake death this year. If it's possible.

It's only been 3 months but still no segue at all. They could have dropped hints along the way that he was thinking about this. It feels like this storyline changed along the way and now we need to finish it up by Jan. I am betting on another shocking twist full of plot holes.

Yep. They dropped that story just to resurrect the beaten to death triangle from hell part 2 and now that that's over they've decided to come back to it. I don't know who made that decision but it was a terrible idea. I've been saying all along I don't know why Sheila is dilly dallying. Thats not in her character at all. She usually goes after what she wants with a vengeance. This romancing Deacon and getting jealous of Brooke etc especially when her main purpose of sticking around is Finn and Hayes, makes zero sense.

The writers have ENDLESS jokes about it.

I don't get why the police could not figure this out about the toe. Baker knows what the end of a hot dog looks like after he chomps it! :-P

I really find it hard to believe that the police crime didn't examine the toe to see if it was chewed off.
Why would a bear bite it off and then spit it out?
