Anybody has been watching the show the last two weeks knows that Brooke lied to Taylor when Stephanie asked him if that’s why he left Brooke. What indiscretions with Bill and Deacon. Bill kissed her. She told him to cut it out. She was set up with the Deacon thing, didn't even know he was there. I don't think she hates Thomas at all, but she has good reason to. And I think if Thomas were being abusive to Douglas, someone should call CPS.

But we know he is marrying her because of it. In August he told Brooke he only wanted her, he did not want to be with anyone but her, those were his words. When she told him she would call CPS if she had to, he asked her not to do that, and she said she would not, unless she thought Douglas was in danger, he thanked her and kissed her when he left the house. He then went to Tom and told him about Brooke saying she would call CPS if she felt Doug was not safe, and that set this in motion Ridge then asked Tom to cool out. He left. He did not bother to tell Tom's mother anything about this stuff. He went home to Brooke that night. Then the call was made, and we saw Ridge saying Brooke would not do it. He called Brooke and asked her and she said "no, it was not her" because it was not her. He said OK and told Tom he believed her. Which said Tom in motion to call Walter and have him come over and play the call. THAT is when Ridge started falling apart. He goes to Brooke several times to ask her if she had anything to tell him, told Tom if she would only tell him the truth, etc. Then he is upset, is told Taylor is going to Aspen, gets hit on the head with the pinecone, and the WHOLE time he is thinking about Brooke. He did not once reflect back on the kisses with Taylor, he thought only of Brooke. Then he goes to Aspen, Brooke comes, he AGAIN just wants her to tell him the truth, she does not for good reason, and that is all she wrote. And even since then, he has gone to see Brooke 2-3 times, pined over her at the office, constantly staring off thinking about her, was angry as hell when he told everyone about the call.....and now we are suppose to BELIEVE that he is not with Taylor because of the call??? LOL. Yes he is, does he now have feelings for her again, sure, she fell on her back and dropped her drawers for him in a nanosecond, of course he has feelings for her. I seem to recall he was going to sacrifice himself and stay married to Shauna too, but that lasted a few hours. LOL

This is Bell’a chance to redeem this character who’s turned into a miserable, condescending, mean girl. She’s a mom now and needs to be a better person and role model. Plus, if everyone finds out, and she doesn’t tell Ridge and he married her mom, when they all find out Douglas will become Hope and Liam’s child for good, since there is not one redeemable person from that bunch left to raise him! Plus, why would she do that to her mom just to start out on a lie which she knows was the reason Ridge came to Aspen?

If she wants to be vile and manipulative like her grandmother, she won't say a word. But I don't understand why a Taylor fan would want him to marry Taylor for all the wrong reasons, the main one being that he loves Brooke and wants to be with her.

And there are a of us that refuse to watch if we are going to be stuck with sanctimonious trouble making gossipy Gidget Taylor married to Ridge, and "gee-gawing" and "aw-shucksing" us to death 24/7. I will be out then myself. I think Bell has got himself a viewership issue with this SL. But, I do think Brooke is ahead in the game. She is truly the victim in this SL, and no one else even comes close. Taylor can go pound sand and take her sicko son with her. She is not just annoying to watch and listen to, she is such a raging harpy.

If Brooke had been floating around Erics house that while getting ready for her wedding she'd be called out for it. Donna was called out for wearing a bikini. Ivy was called out when she lived there and went to the kitchen in her pajamas.

I think it's a given that Brooke and Ridge will be together at some point or other. Even if Ridge stays with Taylor it won't be forever. Everything on soaps is temporary. It's like they say about the weather in Florida. Don't like it? Just wait. The tide turns. The worm turns. Everything on soaps twists and turns and goes round and round. I do believe Bridge will be together, though, when the show ends. They are the end game couple.

But, he has not been in love with her for years, he even said as much to her in 2018 when Caroline II died. He told her they had a wonderful past, but that is all it was now. Ridge just does not love Taylor like he loves Brooke. He said, Brooke lets him be himself, Taylor was always trying to analyze him. He has also said no one understands him like Brooke.
I just Hope Steffy does the right thing and ends this next Monday be telling the truth.

A lot of people aren't over Brooke and Ridge, though. I don't think he even loves Taylor. I think he respects her as the mother of his oldest children, but Brooke and Ridge have a child, too. If Ridge and Taylor really love each other, then the truth won't hurt them.

She did say she was Team Brooke when she found out about Sheila's label change, and she did save Amber's life when Bill put her over the garden wall and left her to fall. It was Steffy who pulled her to safety. I am a Brooke and Hope and Liam fan, but I can acknowledge the times Steffy has done something right. Still not a fan, though.

But we all know he IS with her because of the call. If he was not with her because of the call, he would have told Brooke he was leaving her because he was in love with Taylor and he could no longer deal with their animosity toward each other's children. If Ridge wanted Taylor, he had no reason at all to go to Brooke in August, confess the MC kiss, and when asked by Brooke...."do you want to be with Taylor now?" he could have said "yes" and not what he said...."no, I only want to be with you,"

If Steffy keeps the secret, then she is just as evil and demented as Thomas and she would deserve it if someone played a similar trick on her to split her and Finn up that Thomas played on Brooke. Knowing what a mean, selfish, hypocritical person Steffy is, she will probably keep the secret and try to get Douglas to keep it to.
