Thomas is a monster for putting Douglas in this position. Imagine being a kid and having to sit there and listen to adults yelling at each other and saying horrible things about his grandmother when he knows it's all based on an evil scheme. This is child abuse.

He should lose custody of Douglas just based on this mental abuse. Putting him through a CPS visit and then putting the burden of keeping this secret is too much for a kid to deal with.

today was really uncomfortable to watch, he's the only kid sitting there, he's clearly not happy yet not one of them noticed it because they're all wrapped up in themselves, if liam or hope were there, they would see it immediately, what thomas is putting this kid through again is disgusting

It really is disgusting. It's bad enough that Ridge just blurted it out and everyone started yelling back and forth. But for Douglas to have to sit there knowing that he could clear it all up by telling what he knows but not being able to because of Thomas...that's just straight up emotional abuse.

Where are Hope and Liam anyway? I hate how they just dropped the whole thing. He tried to kiss her, she went home and then NOTHING. They have vanished without a trace. Not even mentionned in the spoilers for next week. This is odd.

I have a feeling they are out of the story now until after Thomas is exposed. And then maybe the custody story will heat up again.

I just hope all his attempts to brainwash Hope and bad-mouth Liam, all those sick fantasies and his attempt to kiss Hope won't be swept under the rug like when he colluded with Sheila. The WHOLE truth needs to come out. I don't want Liam to be angry at Hope because of this secret, but at the end of the day he still deserves to know. I hope she won't protect him.

Douglas sitting at the top of the stairs listening would have been just as effective. It was abuse to make him even sit through the party knowing how he feels.

What evil Thomas did to Douglas (again) is inexcusable. I think Douglas will want to go back to live with Lope all on his own. So if the rest of the faux Forresters fight Lope knowing Douglas wants to go back living with Lope AND the fact Thomas abused his son again..then they are just as evil as Thomas.
