I completely agree with him. When they have the characters just say whatever, true or not, it changes the very nature of the show.

Matt is 100% correct on the show’s problem and the true history of Brooke’s relationship.

I agree 100%. Furthermore how can Brooke cheat on Ridge when he was married to someone else. My theory as to why they did that is not just because they were lacking the writers who understood the history. I think they did it because there’s not much Steffy could say about Brooke being with the father and two brothers when Steffy herself had been with the father and two brothers.

Yes, and Steffy did it while married, where Brooke did not. Steffy was married to Liam, when she banged his dad. Brooke was not married or even with Ridge when she had sex and married Eric. Steffy was engaged to Liam when she fell asleep in bed with his brother, half naked, and Brooke was not even with Ridge when she became involved with Thorne OR Nick.

Taylor has slept her way through the Forrester family, too, and she's also slept her way with the men in Brooke's family.

So you think the writers know what they are doing and just ignore history on purpose?

When I miss a show, sometimes I watch the episode online. I have noticed when they claimed on the soap that Brooke cheated on Ridge, a lot of Brooke haters repeated it in the comments. When they are asked who Brooke cheated with, they usually say Eric, Thorne and Deacon without even knowing or acknowledging the history of the show.

Right. And it's easy when the show decides to change history, but it's negligent because the show also puts the history on youtube for us all to see. I can't imagine when they think Brooke cheated on Ridge with Eric or Thorne -- Or Deacon. I strongly believe it did not happen.

The only time Brooke had sex with another man was mistaken sex with Oliver and sex with Nick when Ridge was assumed dead. I believe that's it. And if Taylor gets away with grief sex with James, then so does Brooke with Nick. Mistaken identity sex? that's a wash.

This is Garbagefan. He has been around for a very long time. He was on the early message boards and went to all the fan events they use to have for BB. He got to know the actors. A very devoted fan that has blogged about the show, and writes about it. He is very nice and very funny. Matt knows every detail of the show, which is refreshing given all the rewriting nonsense we have now.

Just like that woman in the Bold Live with Casey last week. What's her name?
