These Thomas/Douglas scenes are way too dark. How can they make Thomas' redemption believable after this? His last redemption arc wasn't very convincing, but IDK how anyone will take it seriously after this. No matter how many times he says he regrets it and wants to change, they're making it impossible to believe it.
He isn't just asking Douglas to keep a secret... he is raising his voice and threatening him to cover up his crap. I hate the tone he is using. Very creepy. I can overlook a lot of wrongdoings in soap operas. Even Emma's death, I honestly don't care whether he killed her or not. But attacking a child like this is... this makes my blood boil. I had chills while watching this last scene. Another very grim story.

I often wonder if children can separate fiction and reality if they're asked to act in scenes like this. I know they are actors but they are also still children with brains that are not fully developed yet. I don't have kids so I don't know much about them but I don't like seeing kids treated like this either, acting or not.

Henri said in his Bold Live that he worked on a movie where he was the son of a man who killed wife. Henri was also in a couple episodes of American Horror Story. The one with the Alien invasion.

I was in a lot of plays when I was a kid, one was "The Wizard of Oz" and I could always separate fact from fiction, but that's my own experience. I have seven kids now, and they can separate fact from fiction, too. (Well, two are too young.) But that's their experience. I suppose it depends on the child. HJS seems to be an intelligent kid, who probably isn't affected by the SL. And you have to remember he interacts with MA in a good way when they aren't acting and what he sees isn't what we see. He sees a set and cameras, and we see a bedroom, living room, etc.

I gotta say that I didn't like Brooke telling Thomas not to put Douglas in danger. You know what that means -- Douglas might get put in danger. I do not like that.

I didn't like that, either. I'm wondering if Thomas locks him up someplace so he can't disturb the wedding. But wouldn't everyone wonder where he was?

He’s a good little actor isn’t he. I’m sure he does know the difference. He wouldn’t be in this role if he couldn’t handle it. I think it’s meant to be creepy, I wish the show with diagnose Thomas but I understand their hesitancy to give whatever is going on with him a name because it’s hard to pull back from that once you do it.

And, they don't want to freak out their audience or make anyone angry if someone in their family has the same mental or physical illness.

It was awful. Abusing his son all over again is just so bad. I'm pretty sure after this, Douglas will want to go back living with Lope at the cabin all on his own..he's realizing his daddy isn't well and is doing wrong again. Vacation time at Eric's is over.

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.

Why does a child always have to be the one to blow the whistle on the adults?

The scenes today with Thomas and Douglas are exactly why Thomas makes my skin crawl. He's the very definition of a dirtbag. What's truly frightening, however, is that there really are men like him in the world.
