I'm a little perplexed by Hope suggesting that Brooke tell Ridge that she'd try to see Thomas through Ridge's eyes.
Brooke refused, but it made me wonder. If Hope wants Brooke to do that for the sake of her marriage, why can't Hope try it for the sake of her OWN marriage?
Why is Hope holding on to all these excuses about Thomas herself?

Yeah, Brooke shot that down, and I don't blame her, either. I'm glad she stuck to her ideals even if it means losing Ridge.

Yes, Hope should perhaps try to see Tom through Liam´s eyes...I know she always had a soft spot for Tom but at the moment she really sees him through rose-coloured glasses...

Girl, and if Brooke saw him through Ridge's eyes, Brooke would start changing Thomas' diaper.
I don't know why Hope isn't seeing Thomas for who he is after what happened this week.

Hope is being written as so naïve. It’s pitiful.

Has does Ridge and most everyone see Thomas through her eyes. He tried to kill Rick or two different occasions.
He lied about what happened when he and Brooke was lost on a island (Ridge stopped his wedding to Taylor)
He knew about baby Beth and kept it secret
He was chasing, I think her name was Emma, not sure, but cased her run off the road and died
What he is done now, Once he finds out, Ridge should never believe again.
Maybe Ridge will find as he is getting married to Taylor and stops the wedding
No one, not even his parents, should trust or believe Thomas again

Hope should try to take a look at her marriage through Liam's perspective. While she's working on her line, and I'm sure she doesn't have to work at all, Liam and Beth, and Douglas when he lived in the cabin, were often left alone. Does Hope want to be an absentee mother? I wouldn't think so. Sometimes, it seems as though her line is more important to her than her family is, and I never thought Hope would be like that. I know she wants to believe the best about Thomas for Douglas' sake, but she needs to think of Liam and Beth as well.

Sometimes it's easier to be insightful about someone else's life.
