I think that's the news Ridge tells an elated Thomas and Steffy: that he's had annulment papers drawn up. Of course, that comes the same day Carter presumably takes them to Brooke. Not sure she signs them right away since she's begging Ridge for answers the next day. I don't know anything, I'm just making guesses. Anything could happen in this screwy soap. Ridge could find out he sent samples of his and Brooke's DNA to Ancestry and they are brother and sister, separated at birth and can never marry. At this point, I wouldn't put it past BB or Thomas to do that, the show is so bad right now.

It's just my guess that Thomas is going to break down and confess (not likely, in my opinion), or someone will overhear him replaying his vile deed, or he'll lose or misplace his phone and someone will hear the recording.

Why would she do that if she doesn't know anything? She's not going to "go running" to Hope and say, "Oh, oh, I was begging Ridge for answers, and we were interrupted!" Brooke doesn't go running to anyone, but she sure seems determined to find out why Ridge left like a horse's behind, with no explanation. I don't blame her. If he wanted his precious annulment papers signed, I sure wouldn't sign them until the dummy told me why. Then I'd ban him from the property, unsigned papers and all. After what he's done, all Ridge deserves is Dr. Dummy and their evil spawn. Having to live with those messed ups will punish him very severely.

I think that Thomas and Hope are a little tipsy from champagne, and Thomas tries to kiss her... being delusional that her considering him 'hot' and being there with him and letting him console her about her fighting with Liam and his 'abandonment' of her in her big work moment makes him feel like she wants it. She is going to throw cold water on him, but being Hope will let him down gently and remind him they are coparents and coworkers ONLY. She is married and loves her husband. Period. I think that is the substantial 'secret' that she doesn't tell Liam. I don't think she wants to upset Liam and make things worse, and I also think she doesn't want Liam all "I told you so" and demanding that she fire Thomas from her line, yadda yadda yadda. It's obvious they are a successful partnership in work, and she feels he is a good dad, and I think she feels she can 'handle' Thomas, so she doesn't want Liam on her back about things. I wouldn't agree with her on that(!) but I think that might be what she's feeling. And I think that her mom is going to broach that thing about feeling that 'outside forces' were at work in the breakup of her marriage to Ridge.
