No, she needs to find out why he left her. And he needs to man up and tell her. After all if Taylor is indeed his true love it shouldn't make a difference that it wasn't Brooke who called CPS.

Absolutely agree, IF Taylor is who he is in love with now, then he can tell Brooke the truth and tell her that is not the reason he left. But, all viewers KNOW it is the reason he left. LOL. But, he should tell her, she will deny it again, but he needs to own that he heard her voice on the call. Brooke did not rat out Taylor for shooting Bill, she did not rat out Taylor for making out with Hector, she did not rat out Taylor when Taylor lied about who fathered Tom. Brooke would not rat out Walter either. Ridge knows, Brooke is not a rat. Taylor is a rat, and has proved it over and over and over. The list is so long. Stealing medical files, stealing CCTV footage, etc. her ratting people out is almost legendary on this show.

Maybe Bell has not decided yet wo gets the Ridge booby prize, but the writing so far is on the wall. If it was always intended to be Tridge, then Brooke would have been the one that made the call. They were setting it up to be either one, and when it was revealed to be Tom that kind of said to me they made the decision, Tridge is not going to make it. JMO

100% agree. I can't wait to see what Ridge does. If he leaves Taylor after all his promises and her buying a house for them he will look like a heel. And if he stays with her even after knowing his wife was innocent he will never be able to get over the guilt and he will actually look like a bigger jerk! Poor guy is going to be stuck between a rock and a hard place and I can't think of a more deserving person!

Ridge isn't going to let his son get arrested. I'm also not convinced that Ridge and Taylor won't be married by that point and I think this whole thing is being setup for Ridge to not make the same mistake he made the last time by leaving Taylor and breaking up his family.

How is Ridge going to stop his son from being charged with fraud, if not with Brooke, he really has no leverage with her, does he? She can sue him for fraud, and the state of CA could have him arrested for fraud. This won't happen on this show, but they are possibilities. Mostly a civil lawsuit that would cost Tom a lot of money in damages.

Now even if they are married, how in the world are any of them going to justify what happened to Brooke, to make it acceptable for Ridge to stay with Taylor? Brooke is definitely the wronged party here, 100%. So, to make it up to Brooke, Ridge is going to stay with Taylor? LOL. That just sounds like salt being poured in Brooke's wound to me. And even Taylor might have a hard time tap dancing about how big bad Brooke stole her man, when we have been watching big bad Steffy and her sidekick Taylor, harping and doing everything but dancing the hootchie kootchie to get Ridge to leave his wife.

When this is all revealed it is going to be Brooke's choice whether she wants Ridge anymore or not. How could it not be? I would bet even if Ridge DIDN'T want to go back to Brooke, he would, if that is what Brooke wanted. Even Taylor is going to realize that they are going to have to try and make this up to Brooke. JMHO

Maybe Taylor will get lucky and Brooke won't want Ridge anymore, then he can stay with his 2nd choice gal and they can live at the beach in their imaginary "happy-pappy" land. LOL. But, I cannot see it being too happy with them knowing their son is as sick as ever, their daughter was the instigator of this mess, and that Ridge will have been turned away by Brooke, who he thinks he owns, and will have to watch her move on with someone else, like Bill.

I think Tridge falls more into the "ignorance is bliss" category. You don't get more ignorant than the mistress who's buying her married lover a house.

Taylor has 0 capability at reading signs from people. Which considering her profession...is even more pathetic.

He was very clear with her when she was talking about being together and their family reuniting, and he was like, "Oh, I was talking about the ocean sounds." She's clueless and he knows it. He knows she's a rainbow, unicorn, pot of gold chasing WRPutz, and he took advantage of her.

Brooke, on the other hand, is thinking very clearly. She knows that if she and Ridge actually confront their problem instead of running, they will survive it. There's nothing delusional about that. She's 100% correct and when Ridge stops being a baby and grows up enough to be honest with her and Taylor, then we'll see.

If that was the case they could have played it better. Ridge had almost a year to fall in love with Taylor organically. He didn't have to have his kids constantly nagging him and Taylor begging him to come back and constantly putting Brooke down to make herself look better. It could have happened when he left Brooke for NYE and was shacking up at Steffys. He even told Taylor at the time that he's home. But he went back to Brooke. It could have happened again in Monaco when he kissed her. It didn't. Both times he got close to Taylor only because Brooke disappointed him and then went right back to Brooke. It's the same this time. Brooke has disappointed him again (or so he thinks) and true to character he's run right back to his trusty rebound. He's still thinking about Brooke. As per his own words his heart is with Brooke. He just can't take any more of her let downs so he's gone to the safe option that he knows will be his doormat and do what he says and won't let him down. Hopefully he stays with her once the truth comes out but if he's already showing he's not 100% happy I wonder how he's expected to be over the moon when he finds out the truth and realizes Brooke didn't lie to him after all.

A reset? This is a straight up rebound which is happening because of a manipulation. If Ridge stays with Taylor after the CPS reveal it will be out of pity.

Actually it was not 15 years. Ridge wanted Brooke, but she was married to Eric and separated from him, Rudge realized how much Eric loved Brooke so he did not want to hurt his dad. He then followed Taylor to S. Thomas and asked her to marry him. They married in 1992. In 1994 she screws James and dies in the plane crash, and is "dead" for months, but really she is in Morocco in Omar's harem. Ridge and Taylor did not remarry until 1998. She dies again in 2002. Returns in 2004 and she and Ridge are married again at the fake heart attack wedding. They divorce forever in 2006. So they were married a total of 8 years if you count the time he was married to Brooke after Taylor came back from the dead the 1st time, and he stayed with Brooke, though technically, he was married to Taylor.

In an interview Tylo gave back in 2011, she said Taylor usually lost out to Brooke, and she was more of the interloper in the triangle. She said all 3 of the actors had gotten sick of the triangle and wanted Ridge to stay married to Taylor for a time so they could do other SL's. Tylo said she was thrilled when she came back in 2006 and would be doing meatier SL"s like Taylor the drunk, Taylor plowing Darla down, etc. In the interview she also said the real chemistry was between Taylor and Thorne, that there was so much history between these 2 characters, and it is not sexual, but could have been grown into a them being a real supercouple.

I figure the woman that played the character for years knew her best, and according tp her, Taylor was not the love of Ridge's life, Brooke was, but Ridge was the love of Taylor's life, and she wished they had written Taylor finally having enough of being the second choice and moving on. When asked later about Taylor shooting Bill, she said she was thrilled that Taylor is the one that shot Bill. She said that after all Taylor had been through, and isolating herself from her family, that she would have deteriorated mentally and she liked the idea of playing the "crazy" psychiatrist.

She was asked to reprise the role again for 2021/22 and turned it down because the real love of HER life, had died, and she was grieving.
