Ridge was really angry at Brooke when he thought about the call, and then immediately said "you will always be in my heart, but I am moving on with Taylor" and he was mad. And what that means, no doubt about it is, he is doing this because of the call, and angry means feelings and he thinks she ruined them, when she did not, but he is ruining them. and when the truth comes out, he is not going to be good for Taylor or anyone.

I for one cannot wait for that butthole to find out the truth of what his psycho son did to his WIFE. And, then for him to realize what HE did to his WIFE. LOL.

He is not going to want to stay with Taylor, he may try, but his guilt is going to eat him alive.

After watching again I think the proposal from Deacon is his daydream, the thing that stuck out was his saying "I have been dreaming about this moment forever"....and the look on her face, smiling.

Ridge did seem happy at the beach house, but the thing is, that happiness is built on a house of cards, it is built on a lie. The very thing he has left Brooke over, a lie. This is not going to end well for Taylor or Ridge or Brooke.

The thing is that even before the Thomas deception, there were major cracks in the BRIDGE marriage. If it wasnt this it would have been something else.
I think even with the reveal too much would have happened for BRIDGE to go back like normal and TRIDGE will stay together. Not forever cos it is a soap but for a while anyway

I don't agree with you. This version of Tridge has no chance because it is completely predicated on a lie their son has told. A crime their son has committed against an innocent woman who is Ridge's wife. My point of my post is this, there can be no happiness for Ridge going forward after the lie is revealed, until he can make amends with Brooke, and the only way to do that is to leave Taylor and go back to Brooke, if she will have him. He owes it to Brooke to give her the choice because it is his Hamilton family and himself that has committed 2 terrible wrongs against her, in fact they have committed a lot of wrongs against her this past year. If Brooke says yes, come home, they can see if they can make it work, if not, his conscious will be free to pursue Taylor. Ridge will not be able to be a husband or even a good partner to Taylor once this truth comes out. He will be ate up with guilt. It does not matter if there was a crack in bridge, a crack by the way, his son was a part of, he knew what Sheila had done and said nothing. That is 2 whammies Tom has pulled on Ridge's innocent wife. Ridge told Taylor on July 4, he was going home to Brooke, his wife and not just because she broke her ankle and he even said as much. He asked his wife if he could come home, and not just to take care of her. He later told about kissing his old ex-wife and asked his wife's forgiveness and told her he wanted to be with only her. That was in August. So, if there was a crack, Ridge felt that it was mended or he was being a big fat liar. I may not be saying this very well. But this kind of manipulation against someone who is innocent, whether you like them or not, does not usually end well for the manipulators. And Ridge does have guilt in his heart. That is how Steffy, Tom and Taylor have been beating him over the head relentlessly for months to try and make him choose "them" over his other family with Brooke. Ridge is a man that feels a lot of guilt, and this will be one of the worst times of it for him. He will be weighted down with it. He does not know it, but we do, he has betrayed his wife in the worse possible way. He has believed a lie instead of her because his son used a voice APP and committed fraud. He has screwed another woman and committed adultery, he has been cruel and cold to his innocent wife, who was a victim already of Sheila's and his son, and now a victim again of his son. And now she is a victim of Ridge's own bruised ego. Then we have Taylor, who is also going to be a victim of her son's lie and fraud. She too is going to suffer. If Ridge dares to stay with her, it will be because he does not know what to do, and I am sure Steffy will be hounding him again. If Ridge leaves their beach home, which he should do when the truth comes out, he will be ate up with guilt over her, for allowing her to believe in him AGAIN. Ridge is just screwed IMO. The only good thing in this mess, Taylor is too old to get knocked up and try to hang on to him that way.

Agreed. Ridge will know he's the one who ruined his marriage to Brooke based on his son's lie. The same son that Brooke repeatedly warned him about...and that he insisted was "cured" despite knowing he knew about Sheila switching the labels on Brooke's drink...and hiding this fact from her. Ridge will know he failed as a husband on every conceivable level...and will be consumed by guilt until he can earn Brooke's forgiveness. However long that may take.

The last thing is exactly what I remembered but I wondered how far in advance they got the story!
I still think Tridge will stay together.
Maybe Sheila being found out trying to attack Brooke will bring back Bridge, but as much as Brooke still loves Ridge, and always will, I think this was too much.
Ridge will have to pay. How can he pay? If he and Taylor are happy that’s no payback. Caroline dumped him- that was payback for how he treated Brooke and Katie. This was waaaaaay worse!
And whether Taylor knew the lie she knew her kids were harassing Ridge, she was bad mouthing Brooke all of the time - even to Deacon.

I agree with your post, and from various interviews with TK, who once said Brooke and Ridge should stay together "because it takes a long time to achieve that level of comfort with someone" I think it has to be Brooke who ends the relationship, if, indeed, it does end.
