Hope/Thomas (Spoilers)

Last Tue after the kiss, did Thomas explicitly say the kiss was a daydream? I ask because I was looking over this week's SOD, and the recap says, "Thomas flashes back to the memory of him and Hope kissing as Steffy arrives."

No MA said it was Tom's daydream in the interview they posted today.

Ah, ok, that makes sense. If he never said it on the show, it makes sense the person recapping would say memory.

On the SOD podcast they asked him about Tom dreaming about kissing Hope, and he commented about it. He did not say that it was not a daydream, in fact, it sounded very fluid like he thought everyone realized it was just another Tom fantasy. He mentioned that Tom feels his dad does not love him or like him much. Which is why Tom is messed up. And that this is all a Tom problem and no one else.

I'm not sure why Tom feels that way about his dad. Ridge has defended and protected him from any punishment for his numerous crimes and evil deeds. What more does he want?

It is all nonsense and the writers caused it by letting this false narrative about Ridge deserting his kids to go on. Ridge never deserted his kids. His kids were ADULTS when he dumped their mother for being a liar and a hypocrite, nothing to do with Brooke, other than he was disgusted with her for pointing her bony claws at Brooke all the time, when she herself had been a liar, a cheat and egged his mother on to harass Brooke.
Taylor was the absent parent for years, not her fault, when they were young. But, she has been an absent parent for years of their adult life, by her own choice. These brats had no issue with Brooke at all UNTIL mommy crawled out of the grave and wanted her husband back and said RJ didn't need his dad, but her teenage brats did. OK. Whatever. So, I am sure Steffy will totally understand when Brooke expects Ridge to come home to her, when the truth about Tom comes out. I am sure Steffy will completely understand that Brooke was robbed of her marriage and will fully expect daddy to go home to his wife, that did nothing wrong. LOL

Another one who really does not know their characters history.. I will give him some credit since he is like the 4th recast... However, throughout history Ridge has coddled that brat and excused his behavior. His one time he did not was Berrygate. Thomas is mad at the wrong parent... Ridge has been there for Thomas continuously, Taylor has not due to both circumstances and by choice. Ridge gave him shares. Taylor gave hers to Steffy. In a child's eyes it is easier to blame the parent who has always been there for you because they are safe... If Thomas gets mad at Taylor, she could up and leave him again..

This is the same impression I got after reading that. It seems like MA really doesn't know why Thomas is acting the way he is and is grasping for excuses for his character. And I don't even think Thomas has any real need to have his parents together. He never has in the past. He's just following Steffys lead because she's a big bully. He always follows her lead anyway. Maybe she'll pat him on the head when she finds out and call him a good boy.

He didn't use the word daydream, but he said something like "stop thinking that Hope is kissing me, she is married''. In my opinion it was made clear it didn't happen. And quite frankly, I doubt Hope would have been in the mood to comfort Brooke about Ridge and Taylor and then confront Deacon about Brooke, if she'd been making out with Thomas. She would be overwhelmed with guilt and wondering if she should tell Liam the truth or keep it secret.

I'm not sure why everyone missed it, but Tom clearly said he had to stop daydreaming about Hope , right after the fantasy sequence. It was at the very beginning of the show.

I know.
Thomas in the episode after that strange kiss on screen stated that he has to stop "fantasizing" about kissing Hope.
October 18, 2022:
(replay of the scene: Thomas: I told you, I’m a one woman man. That woman is you. (and the kiss))
Thomas: Stop! Hope is married. What’s wrong with me? Things are so great, especially since I finally got a way to get Brooke out of dad’s life. I can’t be fantasizing about Hope and me kissing.

It would’ve been better soap drama if real
