Sheila/Thomas (General)

Is it just me, or is this story very similar to the Sheila/Brooke story? Brooke threatened to keep Sheila away from Finn and Hayes, so she snapped and set Brooke up to drink. Brooke threatened to keep Thomas away from Douglas, and he snapped and set her up with the CPS call. I even see people saying it is Brooke's fault that Thomas called CPS.

Are they drawing these parallels on purpose? Or are they really just reusing the story from earlier this year? Is this going to take a dark turn?

I was really hoping Thomas hadn't done this and had actually changed. (I am a sucker for a villain redemption story) But now that I know that is not the case, I can't help but notice the last two days; he seems really off. Very creepy.

It's been done in different ways over and over again. To me it's similar to the runway proposal. Ridge was brainwashed over and over again by Taylor and Stephanie that Brooke would cheat on him. So when he saw her hugging Grant he automatically thought she was cheating and he proposed to Taylor on the runway wearing the gown and ring he designed for Brooke. Without even talking to Brooke first or asking for an explanation. So this is nothing new. Except this time it's been Taylor and Steffy brainwashing him. And he always ends up with egg on his face. This time will be no different.

Yes I think it will take a dark turn. I think someone is going to bust him just like when he knew about Beth. Maybe Douglas, or Liam. More likely Donna. Someone will overhear him or find his phone or figure it out. Thomas will not want anyone to get in the way. He might threaten or kidnap that person... or worse. If a minor character like Charlie or Walter wants to expose him, Thomas may just kill him. He has proved more than once that he can kill.

I think Charlie's a staple on the show, but I do think Walter could be in danger.
