You forgot that Brooke was married to the owner of that house and she knows this place better than Ridge that is there first time to fight for his rebound.

Well, I am sure that any woman is capable of doing that without a useless male who's never been there before while she certainly has been. The idea that she needs Ridge to walk anywhere is kind of sexist.
