Brooke Sounded Guilty Today (General)

It seems like overkill to me. If Brooke is innocent make her look innocent. They also didn't have Hope straight up ask Brooke if she called CPS which I thought was interesting.

I believe Liam and Hope will find out when Brooke came into the office with her phone, she went to retrieve it in Ridge's office. They will then find out that she could not have made the call. It was Thomas, he is physco as ever. BUT, I would love for Brooke to go to Aspen and tell them they belong together and drop his butt once and for all. The writers need to show that women can be strong and don't need a man 24/7, especially a low life like Ridge.

Disagree. They are using Brooke to prop up the Tridge reunion. I hope Ridge never comes near Brooke again. I bet anything it will not be her. Too obvious.

In her brief conversation with Ridge she talked like someone was guilty but trying to avoid admitting it. What jumped out to me was the way she talked about whoever called not wanting Douglas to be interrogated but just wanting Thomas to get in trouble. That's an odd choice of words if you aren't the person who called and things went in a different way than you were expecting.

She MAY not be guilty of calling CPS this time but she threatened to do it.
She made empty threats of not allowing things not in her power to stop. She’s ridiculous, embarrassing.
AND she’s guilty of meddling AGAINST her daughter s wishes and attacking Thomas for no reason but her prejudice and a stupid fixation over a knife.
The busybody was warned to let Thomas and Hope handle the situation.

Brooke is an expert at creating troubles. Now she’s pissed off Ridge put Thomas first instead of her and her daughter. She’s so self centered she sees it as an attack against the all mighty Brooke Logan… it’s always about me me me in her head … she’s such a joke

I did not get to see the show yet, but I read the recap and it sounded like Ridge said he was going to forgive her if she told the truth to him. So, that means, Taylor is not who he wants. If this recap is right, he was ready to let her calling CPS go. Was Tom concerned when Ridge left to go see Brooke, or was he confident? If he was confident, then he set up the call, if not, then it is anyone's guess, but looking more like Brooke. Though I cannot see her lying to Hope and Ridge both. Now, I could see her doing it if she has some sort of medical issue going on that is causing her to have lapses in time. There are several things that can cause people not to remember doing something.

I don't disagree with you that it sounded robotic but I don't think it was intended to. Neither Ridge nor Thomas reacted to the sound of the call so I feel like that was a technical glitch not part of the story.

No way. They are just doing this so the sanctimonious idiot will run to the WRP. Brooke would not have used the name Logan in the call. Plus it sounded robotic. Both women should turn him down.

But Brooke is acting strange about it too. I am not sure she would lie to Hope about it. For some reason, if this is Brooke, something happened that triggered something in her, they showed the knife from her perspective and she was really starting to panic. Maybe she has PTSD from when Andy raped her, he used a knife. But, not sure they would even go back that far to dredge that up for this SL. These writers only see as far as the end of their noses.

Doesn't matter. Brooke didn't call CPS. If she did, there's nowhere to go with the story. Thomas calling CPS is the golden ticket. It impacts the Tridge reunion. It impacts the Douglas situation. It solidifies the faux Forresters as heartless bullies. And if sets up Brooke for her own story.

Tridge goes off to live in Steffy's upstairs or over at Eric's and then Granny Hayes and Gramps Marone bounce babies on their knees for the remainder of the show's run? LOL. There is zilch for them if Brooke made the call, nada. They are boring together without their Brooke angst to liven them up. I guess we could get another 5 months of SINN being terrorized by Sheila again, but then we would be stuck with another 5 months of being told how wonderful SINN is and them getting caught kissing in their living room, but this time it won't be just Taylor catching them, it will be Ridge too. LOL. Yup, that will really put the butts in the seats Mr. Bell. LOL
