Maybe somebody should remind them how Ridge has already kept Douglas from Thomas when Douglas wax born. Ridge took him away.

Thomas, you had no problem at all keeping Beth from Hope. You kept Hopes baby from her.

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.

Exactly but Bell Jr thinks we (the savvy viewers who have been there since Day 1) are conveniently supposed to forget that.

Agreed that Thomas kept Beth away and all that. Thomas paid by handing over his son to Hope for a long time. He literally gave up his son. All he wants now is to be back in his son’s life and spend some time with him. What the heck is Brooke’s problem? She makes me sick.

It sounds totally unreal to hear Thomas lecturing Brooke and teaching lessons about honesty and lies. Who does he think he is?

Whether he called CPS or not doesn't even matter here. He is STILL judging Brooke for lying to Ridge about the New Year's Eve kiss with Deacon. He still thinks Brooke should lose Ridge forever because of that lie with Deacon. Meanwhile he is keeping 99999999999 times bigger secrets himself.
- His attempted murders against Rick.
- His role in Emma's death.
- Caroline's fake letter that convinced Hope to adopt Douglas.
- Drugging Liam with Vinny's pills.
- Scaring Douglas with the ghost.
- And more recently his association with Sheila.

All those lies are WAY WORSE than Brooke and Deacon's kiss and (maybe) Brooke calling CPS and lying about it. And that's only a small list of lies that never came out. Let's not forget he lied about having sex with Brooke on the island. Lied about Reese's crimes. Lied to Ridge about his night with Caroline, and so on. The list is endless, and all these lies were more cruel and self-serving than Brooke's.

You are so right. Ridge tried to steal Tom's son, in fact, DID steal Tom's son, but Caroline finally made him give him back. And you are right, what Tom did keeping that baby from her parents, is 1000 worse than someone calling CPS on him.

I am surprised that TK did not get into the deeper SL here, and that is Ridge feeling guilty and like a failed parent because his son is mentally ill, and all Ridge wants is for him to be normal, so he is putting all his eggs into that basket, and cannot mentally or emotionally afford to allow that basket to topple over. Ridge is in denial about his very sick son.
