That's Inexcusable Thomas (General)

Thomas calling CPS to set up Brooke is deplorable. Thomas putting his son in a situation where he had to be interviewed by CPS is inexcusable. His mind is still sick. Brooke and Liam see it and are, once again, right on the money. What will Ridge, Steffy and Taylor do when the truth is revealed? Will they bury it like they've done everything else? I'll be royally ticked if Brooke isn't vindicated.

Are we 100% sure Thomas did it? I haven't watched anything this week (will try to catch up this weekend)
Was it officially confirmed on screen or are we still in the speculation stage?

Nope. Not 100% sure. But, here's what we know because they played the CPS call. It's Brooke's voice. The caller identifies herself as Brooke Logan. We do know it wasn't Brooke and we know it wasn't Liam because of the conversation between Liam and Brooke. We also know that Ridge believed Brooke when Brooke told Ridge it wasn't her and Thomas said Brooke is lying and pushed Ridge to reach out to a family "friend" to see who called. There is no way that Thomas would have risked pushing Ridge if he didn't already know that it was Brooke's voice. If it looks like a duck and it sounds like a duck, it must be a duck. Thomas was the caller and he used the app.

I still think they should have asked for the phone number.

Brooke or Brooke and Liam will be the one(s) to figure this out. Brooke looked like she was already suspicious of the phone call.

She'll be even more suspicious when she finds out they heard her say Brooke Logan.

Great idea, but I don't know if CPS would have given it to them, but then, this is a soap. Anything can happen. Maybe that's how Brooke will be vindicated, through identification of the phone number.

The show is written so screwy now, I've no idea what Ridge, Taylor, and Steffy will do when they find out Thomas called CPS to set up Brooke. Steffy will probably be proud of him, but Ridge and Taylor should have Thomas committed to a mental hospital.

I may be in the minority, but I don't think Ridge is going to bail on Taylor once the truth comes out.

I think I agree with this. He will stay with Taylor but be having flashbacks of Brooke and then in December we'll see the SOD cover again "Who will Ridge choose?" LOL!

If so, he will be looking for a way out the whole time he is with her, like he did before. When she gave it to him, he booked straight over to Brooke's. Who told him to go back to his 2nd choice gal. The question is, what is she hiding and lying about this time that he can use to justify dumping her?

True, but the Brooke hatred is extremely deep that even in his scheming, he's refusing to use her married last name of Forrester.

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.

That would be a great storyline. Douglas has been damaged from all the past deeds Thomas has done. I think he’s 100% capable of doing it. Years ago when Rick was a young teen, he shot and tried to kill Grant so I can see Bradley doing a storyline like this. He probably has been seeing Thomas & Hope getting along with her supporting him, so why wouldn’t he create a plan to get his ‘’Mommy” and Daddy together so he can have them both as regular parents. Plus, they recently re-cast Douglas. When they do re-casts like that, it usually means that character is going to have some sort of personality change. Maybe the previous actor who played Douglas was too cutesy for this kind of storyline.
