If Tom used the voice APP and called CPS (General)

Most of Thomas crap was swept under the rug because it didn't have dramatic consequences. If he calls CPS and Ridge goes back to Taylor because of it, the truth WILL come out. I bet he tells Steffy and she agrees to cover it up. They will talk about it non stop like Flo and Zoe. Until someone overhears them and blabs.

Exactly. The consequences of this scheme would be just as huge as the consequences of Thomas' berry lie in 2011 or Thomas and Steffy's manipulation of Ridge's phone in 2009. So there's no way that it would be swept under the rug. The only question is if it will take weeks or months for the truth to come out.

When Steffy and Thomas had Charlie hack into Brooke's security footage for example, this was something entirely different. Of course they were crossing a line then too and their methods were very shady, but technically they were just uncovering the truth about something Brooke was keeping from Ridge, something she should have come clean about much sooner. They weren't trying to frame her for something she didn't do and they didn't even keep their involvement a secret. They also didn't have any idea that Brooke had been the victim of a scheme, to them it looked like Brooke had consciously cheated on their father. They thought everything they told Ridge was the truth. But calling CPS and framing Brooke for it to deceive Ridge and make him leave her would be in a totally different league.

And I think once again Douglas will help uncover the truth. Either he's the one who overhears Thomas and Steffy talk about it, just like he overheard Thomas talk about Beth being alive. Or he simply uses the app again while he's with Brooke or Hope and then they start to connect the dots.

Maybe Doug goes to use the APP again and Brooke's voice making the call is on it, because Tom did not know the phone stores it. Could be Ridge and Taylor are the ones that overhear it while with Douglas and then we will get all their stupid angst again. And, I bet they tell Douglas not to tell anyone too. LOL. Ridge saying he has to tell Brooke what happened, that he knows she was not lying. Taylor saying "yes, that has to be done"....all while they are looking at each other in agony, because they now know their son is still troubled and that Ridge will have to make a "choice" again....AGGGGGHHHHHHHH! LOL.

She will sacrifice herself and tell him he needs to go to Brooke, that SHE did not want him this way, through tricks. She will again yammer about how much she loves him and how the last few weeks have been so beautiful, but that he needs to make this choice without anyone forcing it by playing tricks. All the while, she will be saying snarky things about his life with Brooke in some left handed manner. He will say "Doc, these last weeks have been so calming (gag) and I have felt like I was home, but what Tom did to Brooke, she did not..she was right...our son was threatening her and he lived up to his threats. He broke Brooke and me apart. And now I have to tell her. I love you Doc....why does this keep happening?" (because you have POS kids) but I think my home is here, with you and Steffy and Finn and Kelly and Hayes, all in this one room."

Then he will go tell Brooke that he knows she was telling the truth. She will be happy and glad and think he is coming home, that he is going to right the wrong that his son perpetrated on her, and then he will tell her he is staying with Taylor because, "too much has happened. You will never trust Tom now, you will never realize that he can change."

Yup, if this were how it would play out, that is how that cheating louse would play it. And in the end, Brooke will still lose for nothing she did wrong and I bet Taylor even justifies it to Ridge by saying, "Tom never would have done this if he did not feel threatened by Brooke"

How will they ever figure it out? If this is what happened, will they just let it go, have him get away with it? Because I have no idea how anyone would be able to find out the truth. So, if it is Tom, then are they just going to let this be one of those things they just use to end something, in this case Bridge, then never mention it again? And then 5 years from now we are all listing it in stuff Tom did to Brooke? But, no one on the show ever brings it up again?

I think this is the thing I find the most frustrating about the show.

Thomas wouldn't know what real love was if it slapped him in the face. Thomas uses Douglas.

Brooke threatened to do it in a private conversation with Ridge. Tom wasn't around for it so it would seem unlikely Tom would be the caller. I think it was Brooke. Only thing that makes sense.

Nag, nag, nag all she wants! Brooke will be proven right again, and Ridge will look like a fool again for not believing her. As for Hope living on HER mother's property - hardly squatting. Therefore, based on that logic, Thomas is squatting at his Grandfather's mansion!
