Thomas didn't leave before Ridge. He told Ridge that Douglas was waiting for his grandpa. Thomas then said he was going to finish a few things before he left and would meet them at home.

Absolutely I was a social worker for 8 years, and I can guarantee you that in a major city, there is no possible way CPS would come for a check that quickly. You are looking at 48 hours minimum, possibly up to a week.

Well, he could be redeemed after breaking up Bridge by lying about sleeping with Brooke, so I guess he can be redeemed for breaking them up with the voice app too. And his fans will always excuse anything he does anyway. Even on this board people have already posted that the mere fact that Brooke has mentioned CPS to Ridge already makes her responsible herself for anything that will happen to her marriage, no matter who is actually behind the call.
I never liked Tom and I never liked the actors playing him...now with this Tom, I really like the actor, MA...the first Tom actor who gives Tom a charming side (DTB and especially PF were creepy, AG just boring)...I would have liked him to be a nice guy for a change and not an obsessed and manipulating person...but the writers ruined him more than any other Tom before him...

I HATE this idea that everyone needs a "love interest" to be whole. That is such a BROOKE LOGAN way of thinking. I love the fact that Thomas has been stepping up as a father *WITHOUT DATING ANYONE* like Steffy said.
Chastity and Celibacy are Virtues. 
I am so relieved that they HAVEN'T paired Thomas up with anyone so far which is THE CHEAPEST thing to do on this SEX CRAZED SHOW.
The writers are finally getting it all RIGHT, although I guess it remains to be seen whether Thomas will remain single well into next year or whether they are going to pair him with Hope.

First, I’m NOT Brooke Logan, and as a fan, I’m entitled to MY way of thinking just like all fans do. And if Thomas doesn’t need a love interest to make him whole, then he certainly doesn’t need Liam’s wife Hope to make him whole either. LOL. And why should Thomas’ sister gets all the happiness in the world with a loving husband and family..while Thomas who hasn’t had true happiness in ages?! I’m NO fan of Thomas, but it seems a bit unfair that Steffy gets to be happily married , but not Thomas.

No, but I think YR does this with Adam Newman all the time. I think. I don't watch that show, but a friend does and she says Adam is very devious, yet at times. OK.

I think he is a grey character just like Stephanie was. She did terrible things throughout her life but always managed to come back from it.

It is anyone's guess at this point. It is pretty much narrowed down to Brooke or Tom. None of us can remember the day of the voice app episode where Doug used it. But, it has not been mentioned since then. It seems to be real CPS, but we all know IRL, CPS takes a lot longer to respond than 10 minutes. LOL. If not real CPS, Tom must have stopped at central casting on his way home and picked up some extra's for a day job. LOL
So, Who Called CPS?

It would be a very Sheila thing to do but it would be pretty much impossible in this situation.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't Brooke since they made it look like it was Brooke.
It wasn't Steffy or Taylor. They were talking. So were Liam and Hope, and they went to get coffee together.
It could have been Brooke or Thomas. They had the time alone. I still think it's Thomas, but Brooke will be blamed.
In reality, I sure don't think CPS would investigate that quickly. Within the hour? No way.
It's probably the maid or cook, someone we don't even care about. LOL

As the child of a CPS worker, I can say you're correct. They would only go out that fast if the cops called them because the parents were being arrested or the children were in imminent danger. When it comes to who called, I believe it was Brooke. We don't even know that Thomas knows anything about the voice app and we know that Brooke had her phone with her.
