Yes she did tell Ridge flat out she might call them, he asked her not to, so then why would she lie later, after telling him she might do it? But, Ridge did tell Tom and put that idea into Mr. Peabody's head. LOL

Yes he did. And then Tom is going to tell Steffy, and one of them is going to come up with the scheme and not tell the other. IMO
