sure what steffy did was childish but ridge made the choice to stay out all night if ridge really want to spend alone time with his wife he would have left steffy home at a decent time instead of waiting to return home when brooke already went to bed and thomas is right if one missed phone call ruins the relationship its not hat strong of a relationship

Ridge is to blame for what he does. And Steffy is to blame for what she does. Intercepting Brooke's call was not just childish. It was a straight up manipulation. Steffy is still the manipulator she's been for over a decade.

Yep. They can both be awful...no need to leave either of them out.

One wrong does not make a right. Just because Ridge is a waffling idiot who only loves himself doesn't make Taylor, Thomas and Steffy's actions any better.
Except for the brief moment when she was out of town, Steffy has been harassing Ridge non-stop this year. The word obsession isn't strong enough. Her hypocrisy has no bounds. She is a miserable loser and wants to make sure all her ennemies are more miserable than her. Now she is reverting back to manipulations. It looks like she is gonna go a lot further than intercepting messages. If Ridge wanted to divorce Brooke he would have done it months ago when he learnt about Brooke and Deacon's kiss. If he wanted to be with Steffy, neither Steffy, Thomas... or Sheila would need to conspire to make it happen.

Ridge made that choice without having all the facts. He thought it was an evening like every other. He had no idea that Brooke had any special plans for them. There's absolutely no reason to believe he didn't want to spend time alone with his wife that night and would have chosen to stay at the cliff house if Steffy hadn't intercepted Brooke's call. So yes, Steffy is absolutely to blame.
And Brooke or Hope never implied that this one missed call might ruin Bridge's relationship. If Brooke had been afraid that Ridge might reunite with Taylor that night after missing her call, she sure wouldn't have stayed at home and gone to bed. Brooke and Hope simply don't want Steffy to go any further, knowing what kind of much worse manipulations she has been capable of in the past.
