They went to the source, not the manipulated. That was smart. We don't know what tomorrow will bring between Brooke and Ridge. Brooke knows that Ridge does not like to feel he is so weak he can be so easily manipulated or that his kids and old ex-wife would actually do that to him, considering he spent years having his mother controlling him.
