Waiting for Ridge (General)

If Brooke was waiting for Ridge to come home, no matter how late, I question why she would not wait up for him. She said that he came home after she went to bed. If they are sharing a bed, wouldn't she wake up when he came in or does she just sleep so soundly that she wouldn't wake up. Maybe they are not sharing a bed. Regardless, why would she just go to sleep if she wanted to see her husband. Honestly he couldn't have been out that late. Steffy intercepted the phone call, but if Brooke really wanted to talk to Ridge, it was within her power to do so by staying up until he got home.

IKR? So weird. All this talk about "reconnecting" makes me wonder if maybe they do sleep separately. He came home quite a while ago to help her because of her injury and yet she keeps talking about reconnecting. If/when they finally do, hopefully it's offscreen.

this is why I am not watching anymore. I couldn't hear most of the dialogue over me yelling at the tv about an stupid it was. The writing keeps getting wores.

It was in the dialogue today. She fell asleep. And yes, it's entirely possible that she didn't hear Ridge when he came in. That's what I got out of the dialogue.

So, Brooke couldn't bother to stay awake to see her husband, and Ridge couldn't bother to wake his wife when he got home. He also didn't bother to call or text Brooke before. Seems to me like the problem is between Brooke and Ridge. If Brooke's so desperate to reconnect, then I think she'd try a little harder to stay awake to see her husband.

Maybe she was tired, maybe she knew he came home, but by then was just too tired to talk. The evening had already been ruined when he didn’t show up earlier.
