Just curious......

Does Ridge know about Saint Tay Tay shooting Bill in the back?

Knowing Ridge, he would have supplied extra bullets.

Likewise, is pissant Steffy informed about her "classy" mother's past dark deeds, with a gun?

I think everyone knows...except for the police.

The ones who definitely know are Bill, Steffy, Liam, Hope, Brooke and Ridge.
Thomas wasn't in LA when that storyline happened, so I'm not sure if anyone ever told him. And I think Wyatt was never told either.

From what I remember Ridge practically high 5'd Taylor for shooting Bill in the back

Steffy was the first one to know. She walked in on Taylor and Bill right after Taylor had confessed to Bill, pointing the gun at him yet again. Steffy then persuaded Bill not to tell ANYONE else about Taylor, not even Liam, who was still thinking he had been the one who shot his father. So when Bill persuaded Liam that it couldn’t have been him, he made up a story that he suddenly remembered seeing a reflection in the window of a tall, lanky guy.

I don't remember Steffy actually telling Liam the truth, but half a year later, when Taylor was threatening a pregnant Hope, Liam let his wife know that Taylor had been the one who shot Bill. And when Hope asked him how he knew that, he said that Steffy had told him when he thought he was the shooter. Hope then confided in Brooke, and Steffy told Ridge because she didn't want him to hear it from Brooke or Hope.

Ridge wasn't exactly thrilled about the news, but he didn't villify Taylor either. He told her he could understand how angry she had been and that she couldn't be blamed for trying to protect their daughter from a despicable person like Bill.

So, I just went and reread the transcript from that time and boy, Taylor was and IMO still is, a really nutty drama queen. She kept yammering on to Bill that he manipulated Steffy is her weakest moment, that she was in so much pain.....WTH, over a stupid kiss? A KISS? Taylor was a loon or Steffy was the weakest person in the world, that she could not handle a little kiss between 2 people that thought they were going to die.....it's not like Liam had sex with Sally because she was a virgin. LOL

Bill: And if he can't be, I will. And that's what I told steffy.

Taylor: Excuse me?

Bill: Somebody's got to be there for her. You certainly haven't been. What kind of mother are you? You don't show up for a single holiday. You weren't even at your daughter's wedding.

Taylor: Don't you dare throw that in my face.

Bill: You think you're such a wonderful mother?

Taylor: Don't you dare throw that in my face!

I just posted this part because I like it....Bill...the only one that called that fool out for staying away because it was always about her itty bitty little feelings.

When I was reading this I later down the page, Taylor says she was surprised how how she did not plan to use the gun, she saw it on the table, then she told him she was surprised how easy it was to load the gun. And I don't remember, but was it a clip? And, right there she incriminated herself with "intent". She had to load the gun, which shows intent.

and later she tells Bill he deserves to lose everything including his life, because Steffy lost Liam, the father of her baby,....yeah....poor Steffy, she LET Bill climb on top of her, then needed a EPT to find out who knocked her up, and she lost more, than someone losing their life. LOL. And this loon Taylor has not changed one bit, therapy did nothing for her, because she still thinks her nasty daughter has the right to anything she wants, no matter what the cost. And, she thinks HER wants are more important than anyone's life.

Then we had Brooke, the voice of reality:

Brooke: What does taylor think happened that night?

Ridge: What does she think happened? No, she knows what happened. I told her. Steffy and liam had a fight, she was upset, and spencer moved in.

Brooke: But steffy made it clear that bill did not take advantage of her.

Ridge: He took what he wanted from her, what he always wanted.

Brooke: But if taylor thinks that bill forced himself on steffy...

Ridge: He did.

Brooke: No, that's not what steffy says.

Ridge: Okay. She wanted to be alone in that guest house. He didn't leave her alone.

Brooke: Right, and he should have left her alone, but now he is going to. He's gonna let liam and steffy work things out on their own.

Ridge: He proposed to her.

Brooke: I know. I'm not defending him, I'm not.

Ridge: Really?

Brooke: What he did was deplorable, how he ripped steffy and liam apart and he just took what he wanted. And then every decision he made after that was wrong, having you thrown in jail, wyatt and katie and -- I mean, he was -- he's out of control. But what I'm trying to say is if taylor thinks that bill preyed on her daughter, she's gonna be upset, very upset about this, just like you are. And then things are gonna get a lot worse.

Ridge set the psychopath lose on Bill, and Brooke realized it immediately when Ridge told her that he had called Taylor and told her Bill took advantage of Steffy. Brooke is so much smarter Ridge and Taylor put together.

Steffy: Mom, stop! Oh, my god. I'm gonna scream if I have to say it over and over again. I'm, like, constantly re-living the worst, worst mistake of my life. You could have called me. You could have called. I would have told you the truth. He did not assault me.

Taylor: That's what your father told me.

Steffy: No. Dad was wrong. He's wrong. What happened between bill and me... it was consensual. I slept with him that night.

Taylor: What?

Steffy: Yeah. Yeah.

Taylor: What have I done? What have I done?

Steffy: No. No, mom. Mom, it's okay. It's -- come here. Come here. Just come here. It's okay. It's okay. We're gonna get through this. I love you.

Taylor: I love you.

Steffy: I love you. We're gonna get through this.

Taylor: I don't know what i would do if anybody hurt you.

Steffy: I know. I know, okay? Okay. I-I think you might need help, all right?

Bill: Ya think?

Steffy: I-I just haven't seen you in so long. I-I didn't -- I didn't realize.

Taylor: Bill. Bill. I know what I did was so wrong, and I know saying I'm sorry is weak. I almost took your life and I don't have any right to beg you for mercy, but please don't send me to prison. Please, please don'T. I'll never survive. I'll never make it.

Steffy: Bill, I know you're furious right now. But look at my mom. Look how fragile she is. She was out of her mind when she picked up the gun and she pulled the trigger. She would never do something like this. She helps people.

Bill: I'm just supposed to let this go? Attempted murder?

Steffy: That's exactly what I'm asking.

Steffy: Obviously something broke inside my mother to make her do this. But she needs help. She's not gonna survive prison.

Bill: She tried to kill me, steffy -- kill me. She has to pay the price.

Steffy: She wasn't in her right mind. And it's our fault. We did it. What, I've already lost liam, and now I'm gonna lose my mother over this?

Bill: She shot me in the back. I almost died. I'm still compromised from it, and I don't know how long I will be. Now, yeah. Yes, your -- your mother, she needs help. And I hope she gets it. From prison.

Taylor: No! Bill, please! Please, don'T. I promise I'll never do anything like this again. Please just don't send me to prison. I'll never make it. I'll never come out alive.

Steffy: Bill -- bill, this is my mom we're talking about. I can't just watch her be dragged away in handcuffs. It's gonna destroy us.

Bill: I don't want to hurt you, steffy. But you know me. You know the kind of man I am. Somebody hits me, I hit back twice as hard.

Steffy: My mom is not some hardened criminal. She lost her mind because she thought you took advantage of me. She realizes that now. She's not gonna do anything to hurt you or anyone else. And more importantly, your son didn't shoot you. You should be relieved. I need to tell him that. Liam needs to know.

Bill: You do need to tell him. The question is, what are you going to say?

Steffy: I -- I don't know. I don't know. I -- like -- a stranger? Or... I don't know. I just -- just please don't implicate my mom.

Bill: All right. For you. I'll stick to the story I've been telling the cops. I just couldn't make out who shot me that night.

Steffy: You mean it?

Bill: I mean it.

So once again, it is said that TAYLOR is not capable of doing something she did, and Steffy admits her mother is mentally ill, and Taylor is such a weakling, she begs to not go to prison for a crime she committed, because she would die in prison....and I think SO WHAT? Most people are afraid to go to prison because they think they cannot make it in prison. But, people who commit murder or attempted murder, go to prison, because that is their punishment for their crime. Only Taylor always always gets to skate, which is why she never learns anything. She has been enabled to be a cheater, a liar and a criminal since her first day on the show.

then this...

Bill: Makes you wish you were a better shot, doesn't it? Remember the movie -- I'm forgetting the title, but the lead character had a rare disease, so he went to medical school to find a cure for himself.

Taylor: Vaguely.

Bill: That's you, isn't it? Now you're the one who needs help.

Taylor: And I-I would like to get that help, if you will let me.

Bill: It's not really up to me, is it?

Taylor: You told steffy that you would do that. Y-you told her that you wouldn't say anything... about me shooting you. Are you going to keep that promise?

Bill: I don't think I used that word.

Taylor: You really enjoy exerting your power over people, don't you?

Bill: What happened to all that gratitude you were showing me when steffy was here?

Taylor: Well, you're not being as gracious as you were when she was here.

Bill: Have I called the police?

Taylor: [ Sighs ] I can't go to prison, bill!

[ Sighs ] Just be straight with me. I was with you.

[ Sighs ] Should I expect to be charged?

Bill: With shooting me? I'll be keeping that information to myself.

Taylor: Okay. Thank you.

Bill: For now.

Taylor: "For now," you said.

Bill: That's what I said.

Taylor: What is your price, bill, for silence? I'm sure you have one.

Bill: Shouldn't I be the one making demands? I mean, sure, I could beef up security, but that's not gonna stop a bullet from... slipping right in there. How do I know you're not gonna get a wild hair and come after me again to finish the job?

Taylor: Oh, gosh, bill. I know I was wrong. I am so sorry. I am truly sorry. I am. I just wish you could be sorry for -- for what you did to steffy and her marriage.

Bill: Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah. With.

Taylor: Excuse me?

Bill: With steffy, not to steffy. You and her father need to stop making steffy a victim. You heard it from her own mouth. She was a willing participant.

Taylor: She didn't say, "willing."

Bill: Consensual.

Taylor: I don't -- I don't even see how consent is possible with a powerful older man using his status as a trusted father-in-law to breach her defenses!

Bill: Well, fortunately, steffy doesn't see it that way.

Taylor: [ Sighs ] That's not surprising. Victims of sexual abuse always blame themselves.

Bill: Well, free will doesn't exist for steffy. You're the authority on her life.

Taylor: I call it as I see it.

Bill: You didn't see anything.

Taylor: Let me make this proposal. I will disappear... and -- and you won't have anything to fear from me, and, in return, you will stay away from steffy.

Bill: You're a criminal at large. You don't get to make conditions.

Taylor: [ Sighs softly ] Steffy isn't going to want you interfering in her marriage ever again.

Bill: She doesn't seem to have one at the moment.

Taylor: You still want her, don't you

Taylor: I...am a mother... first.

Bill: Wow, is that frightening.

Bill: How 'bout you let your grown-woman daughter's life unfold for itself and stop trying to live it for her?

Taylor: Well, steffy already made her decision, and it wasn't you. You may be a brilliant manipulator, but I will fight for my daughter's autonomy.

Bill: You're forgetting how easy it would be to make that impossible for you. Just one call to deputy chief baker. Did you hear that he'd been promoted?

Taylor: Is that really how you want to win her -- really, by isolating her?

Bill: I may be loathsome in your eyes, but not steffy'S. You weren't here to see how close we became again.

Taylor: She's your son's wife!

Bill: She is. Do you think you're the only one under certain pressures, cover of darkness, that can do something unsavory... maybe unthinkable? I didn't take your daughter's autonomy. The fact is I gave it back to her.

Taylor: [ Voice breaking ] By destroying her marriage?

Bill: When you cut me off from steffy years ago, you cut her off from herself -- who she is and what she wants. You tried to sell her on a more appropriate life with liam, and so did I, for that matter. But appropriate isn't for everyone. Steffy chose me that night when nobody was watching. She chose me again. And this time, I'm free. If liam doesn't want her... I do. I'm in love with your daughter.

This right here is the reason why I believe Taylor is a psychopath. She has no real remorse about shooting Bill, she is actually proud of herself. Her only concern is what she wants. She approved the hit on Brooke and had no remorse. She hopped in a car while drunk knowing full well the possible outcome and she did not care, it was what she wanted at the time that mattered the most. She couldn't control her libdo knowing full well she was driving a young girl insane... She takes sadist pleasure in inflicting pain with no regard on how it affects others.

Taylor is not quite as evil as Shelia, but she is a psychopath as well. But I believe she has potential to be as evil.

Just curious......

Does Ridge know about Saint Tay Tay shooting Bill in the back?

Knowing Ridge, he would have supplied extra bullets.

Likewise, is pissant Steffy informed about her "classy" mother's past dark deeds, with a gun?

I think if Ridge thought Bill raped steffy he would’ve finished the job….I think a lot of parents would go bonks thinking a daughter was raped

And they would belong in prison with the rapist. No one has the right to take the law into their own hands. NO ONE has a right to act like judge, jury and executioner. Taylor should be in prison right now, or the very least, an institution for mentally ill violent offenders.

I thought it was disgusting what Steffy did! Her father in law?!? She didn’t say Bill leave in her Steffy way. And the way they had sex was not one and done and missionary - it was all over the room! So Steffy wanted Bill! She didn’t want the stigma that is put on Brooke. Everything is hush hush about Steffy AND Taylor but Brooke’s business is blasted out!
Matisse thank you for posting the transcripts! This makes this current storyline more understandable and more disgusting!!!
As far as being in the past and being over - Rick is around 40, Hope at least 30, Bill and Brooke happened way before the Still sex, (Katie had been with Ridge, Bill, and Wyatt by this time) yet we still have Taylor, Steffy and Thorne discussing the men Brooke has been with and how she hurt Katie. Why?! I wonder if Bill has breathing issues?
And again - Brooke has never cheated on Ridge. Obviously a kiss is not cheating in Taylor or Ridge’s eyes unless it is Brooke!

Give it time. Why are they talking about Deacon and Brooke, 24/7 on this show? That was over 30 years ago. But, we gotta hear it every single day from the Hamilton Gang. LOL. Bill is back in the picture, and for some reason I cannot see him being all on Steffy's side in this Douglas mess. And, the quack did promise him she would stay out of L.A. only to return sometimes on the DL and he never had to see her. So, we will see where this goes, and IF Steffy and Taylor cause harm to Brooke physically, this may go very bad for Taylor where Bill is concerned. He thinks she is NUTS already, she has a hand in Brooke getting hurt, she better run.

I think to show it’s no story. Ridge lied and said Bill forced himself on Steffy. While what Taylor did is illegal, Bill gave his word to Steffy he would never turn in her mother. With today’s writing anything is possible but I don’t see Bill going back on that.
